Bamboo Saint

Bamboo Saint is a clan leader who covertly seeks rewards from an unnamed Religious Leader. His murder of Forefather Scarlet Flame for a valuable stone draws Dong Bo Xue Ying to his stronghold and exposes the limits of his formidable survival body.

Biography

Theft, exposure, and death

Bamboo Saint plans to offer the Sun Star Nucleus Stone to the Religious Leader in exchange for another major reward. He kills Forefather Scarlet Flame and takes the stone, believing it would have been inaccessible had it remained with the much stronger Xue Ying. This secret allegiance makes the contents of his treasury dangerous evidence as soon as Xue Ying attacks. (Chapter 618 and Chapters 623–626)

Xue Ying breaks the clan-protection array, binds Bamboo Saint with a domain, and destroys his true body despite its regenerative defenses. Bamboo Saint manages to report the loss and place his remaining treasures elsewhere, but Chapter 630 explicitly treats his subsequent death as suspicious. The scoped corpus does not clarify the exact final mechanism beyond distinguishing the destroyed true body from the later confirmed death. (Chapters 621–623, 626, and 630)

Appearance and personality

No ordinary human appearance is established. In combat, Bamboo Saint's nature manifests through innumerable bamboo leaves and branches shielding an Ink Bamboo Body. He is greedy for the Religious Leader's rewards, confident while plotting against a weaker target, and immediately anxious once Xue Ying threatens to uncover the covert connection. Abilities and cultivation

The Ink Bamboo Body surrounds Bamboo Saint's true body with many layers of leaves and branches, making direct contact difficult and allowing rapid recovery from injury. It is considered hard even for a Paragon to kill him quickly. The defense nevertheless fails under Xue Ying's domain: Bamboo Saint cannot flee, his True God energy steadily diminishes, and his true body is destroyed. (Chapters 622–623)

He also relies on a clan-protection array and maintains treasures tied to his secret patron. The array cannot withstand Xue Ying's assault, and the evidence does not assign Bamboo Saint a named offensive technique or a later cultivation advance. (Chapters 623 and 626)
