Shaman King Klarman

Klarman was a Rose School of Thought oracle and a Sequence 4 Shaman King of the Moon pathway. An artificial vampire with extensive ritual knowledge, he commanded the faction's defense at Faoltec until Emlyn, Sharron, and Maric killed him during the Tarot Club's wider operation against the Rose School. (Chapters 332, 1233–1237)

Biography

Life in Klein's Era

Klarman's name first circulated through his Book of Secrets, a substantial compilation of Southern Continent mysticism and practical ritual knowledge. By the later war, he served the Rose School as an oracle and led its forces around Faoltec. (Chapters 332 and 1233)

While Klein and Reinette Tinekerr occupied the Abomination Suah, Emlyn White, Sharron, and Maric attacked Klarman. He used substitution, blood and moonlight magic, regeneration, and a temporary Door of Summoning to survive their coordinated assault, accepting worsening madness as the price of drawing deeper power from the blood moon. (Chapters 1233–1236)

The attackers overcame his defenses through layered counters: a control bullet, Sharron's source curse, Emlyn's Unshadowed weapons, and an artificial silver moon that suppressed Klarman's lunar advantage. His charred, blood-drained body yielded a corrupted characteristic after his death. (Chapters 1236–1237)

Appearance and personality

Klarman had the uncanny vitality of an artificial vampire and fought with the assurance of an experienced demigod ritualist. Under pressure he was ruthless and adaptive, but repeatedly opening himself to the blood moon traded control for power and deepened his madness. (Chapters 1233–1237)

Pathways and abilities

As a Sequence 4 Shaman King, Klarman could employ Moon Paper Figurine substitution, Moonlight Transformation, blood control, blood-moon arrows, regeneration, and Moon- and Darkness-domain spells such as Abyss Shackles. Under a blood moon he could temporarily open the Sequence 3-level Door of Summoning, but doing so worsened his mental corruption, and damage to his heart remained especially dangerous. (Chapters 1233–1237)

Relationships

Klarman served the Rose School and fought under the strategic protection of Suah. Emlyn, Sharron, and Maric functioned as a coordinated hunting team against him, with Reinette and Klein preventing higher powers from intervening. (Chapters 1233–1237)

Items

Klarman carried the Grade 1 Sealed Artifact General of Pupil-less Eye, a doll able to animate or possess objects and requiring regular flesh and blood. He also authored the Book of Secrets, whose later circulation preserved his mysticism knowledge independently of him. (Chapters 332 and 1233–1237)
