Emlyn White — Lord of the Mysteries

Emlyn White is a Sanguine Apothecary who becomes the Tarot Club's Moon. Introduced as a proud captive insisting that humans call him “Sanguine” rather than vampire, he is convinced that he has been chosen to save his race. Biography

Captive of the Harvest Church

Emlyn first meets Klein after Bishop Utravsky defeats and detains him at Harvest Church. The bishop does not imprison him in chains; he makes Emlyn perform chores and listen to sermons until he develops genuine faith in Earth Mother. Emlyn resents the loss of status and insists that he could leave if he truly tried, yet he continues cleaning, dispensing medicine, and returning to the church. His pride turns captivity into an argument about identity: he needs to prove that devotion, family, and Sanguine dignity remain his choices rather than effects imposed by a demigod's artifact. Klein initially treats Emlyn as a source of ingredients and pharmaceutical skill.
