Life in Klein's Era

Harry was Darkwill's plump owl companion, first present without a name and later introduced with his insistence on being called “Mr. Harry.” Darkwill had used his Beast Tamer abilities to help the owl consume a potion prepared to dragon standards, hoping for a combat-capable pet, but Harry developed as an intelligent observer rather than a fighter. (Chapters 585–610)

He accompanied Darkwill and Klein Moretti during the dangerous transfer of the Die of Probability, read newspapers, commented sarcastically on Darkwill's behavior, watched the die, and served as a sentry outside the bell tower. Harry survived the sequence of probability-driven accidents and reached Oravi with energy remaining after Darkwill was exhausted. (Chapters 603–611)

Appearance and personality

Harry was a plump owl with human speech, literacy, and a strong sense of dignity about his title. He was perceptive, sarcastic, argumentative, and fond of exposing what Darkwill's expressions revealed, but his anxious commentary during the journey also showed that he understood their danger. Pathways and abilities

Darkwill's preparation and Klein's comparison with Audrey Hall strongly indicate that Harry consumed a Sequence 9 Spectator potion. He could interpret gaze, posture, and behavior with exceptional precision, speak and read like a person, and remain alert through the night, but he showed no combat power and remained vulnerable to external accidents. Relationships

Darkwill was Harry's keeper, potion guide, and favorite target for blunt psychological observations. Klein relied on Harry as an additional watcher during the journey, while Harry treated both men as fallible partners rather than masters beyond criticism. (Chapters 603–611)
