Griffith

Griffith was a Mirror Person who replaced Nikila, a Moses Ascetic Order member of the Mystery Pryer pathway. Through that identity he helped expose senior Order members to the wilderness behind Fourth Epoch Trier until Franca's team identified and killed him. (Chapters 2159 and 2246–2254)

Biography

Cordu, Trier, and the Approaching Apocalypse

Operating as Nikila, Griffith infiltrated the Moses Ascetic Order and gained access to Pillar Kmerolo. He cultivated Kmerolo's interest in the wilderness without exposing the substitution, advancing the Mirror People's plan to make the Order's leadership help unseal Fourth Epoch Trier. (Chapters 2159 and 2246–2254)

Periodic Table's suspicions led Franca Roland, Jenna, and Anthony Reid to ambush Nikila. His Mirror Substitution and mirror-world escape confirmed his nature, but repeated charms and afflictions overwhelmed the Sequence 5 Constellations Master abilities available through the identity and killed him. (Chapters 2250–2253)

Franca questioned Griffith's ghost through a mirror before it dissipated. Infatuated by her Charm, he identified Palia as the Mirror People's local coordinator, explained Kmerolo's corruption and their infiltration goal, and disclosed that he had never personally drunk a potion; his corpse then collapsed into broken mirror shards. (Chapters 2253–2254)

Appearance and personality

As Nikila, Griffith appeared to be an unmarried grain-company employee in his mid-thirties who blamed intermittent migraines for his isolation. Under interrogation he was vain about his “true” name and highly susceptible to Franca's Charm, which made him candid despite the pain and despair of having been killed by her. (Chapters 2251 and 2253–2254)

Pathways and abilities

Griffith was a Mirror Person able to use Mirror Substitution, enter the mirror world, replace a host, and employ abilities associated with Nikila's likely Sequence 5 Constellations Master identity. He stated that he had never consumed a potion himself, so the host's Mystery Pryer powers and his innate Mirror Person nature must be distinguished. (Chapters 2251–2254)

Relationships

The sealed Mirror People leader directed Griffith through a compartmentalized network managed by Palia. Kmerolo was the superior he manipulated inside the Moses Ascetic Order, while Franca, Jenna, and Anthony became the team that exposed, killed, and interrogated him. (Chapters 2246–2254)

Items

Griffith kept many mirrors and nine scrolls in Nikila's apartment, the latter requiring Magic Mirror Divination to identify. His remains produced no Beyonder characteristic and became ordinary broken mirror shards rather than the rare special-mirror-world fragments the team sought. (Chapters 2251–2254)
