Giorgia
Giorgia was the daughter of a textile merchant and the wife of Rubió Paco. Her effort to eliminate a humanoid lizard unknowingly targeted her transformed husband, drawing her into a conspiracy in which Loki later killed her and used her body as a marionette. (Chapters 1973–1977 and 2004–2010)
Biography
Cordu, Trier, and the Approaching Apocalypse
Giorgia hired Lumian's group to kill a humanoid lizard without realizing that it was the true Rubió, transformed by the Paco family's maritime legacy. The man still appearing as her husband was part of Loki's deception, leaving Giorgia dependent on incomplete translations and explanations as supernatural events overtook her household. (Chapters 1973–1977)
She remained engaged with the visitors, helped accommodate Ludwig, and participated in arrangements surrounding the Sea Prayer ritual. After seeking the truth and going to the Solow Motel, she was killed and converted into Loki's temporary marionette. (Chapters 1978–2004)
Loki used Giorgia's body to embrace and immobilize Lugano while manipulating his Spirit Body Threads. Jenna's explosive attack broke the marionette's back and split its head, exposing that the apparent Giorgia no longer possessed life or agency. (Chapters 2004–2010)
Appearance and personality
Giorgia favored vivid patterned dresses and perfume that advertised her wealthy, fashionable upbringing; after the household tragedy, she appeared in widow-like black. She was curious and socially assured, but language barriers and her lack of occult knowledge made her vulnerable to a deception built around the person closest to her. (Chapters 1973–1978 and 2004)
Pathways and abilities
Giorgia was an ordinary human with no stated pathway, Sequence, boon, or supernatural ability. The great weight, joint locking, and control displayed by her body at the motel came from Loki's marionette manipulation, not from any power Giorgia possessed. (Chapters 2004–2010)
Relationships
Rubió was Giorgia's husband, though the original had become the humanoid lizard she wanted killed and his visible replacement was bound to Loki's plot. Lugano translated for her and cared for Ludwig in her household, only to be attacked through her controlled corpse. (Chapters 1973–1978 and 2004–2010)
Items
Giorgia's dresses, perfume, and household wealth were ordinary possessions. No named mystical item belonged to her, and her marionette state itself was imposed after death rather than an object under her control. (Chapters 1973–1978 and 2004–2010)
