Celestial Amulets of Legacy

The Celestial Amulets of Legacy are seven keys forged by Kong shi: six Subordinate Amulets aligned to the Temple of Confucius's six Subordinate Halls and the commanding Prime Amulet aligned to its Prime Hall. Records commonly count only the six subordinate pieces, creating the mistaken claim that the complete set has six amulets rather than seven. (Chapters 1,583, 1,669)

History

Forging and dispersal

Kong shi forges the six subordinate keys from the blood essence of six unique bloodlines and distributes them among later powers. Confirmed custodians include the Master Teacher Pavilion headquarters, Zhang Clan, and Luo Clan; other pieces circulate through rival human, Hundred Schools, and Otherworldly Demon factions. Their scarcity makes them objectives long before the Temple opens and motivates infiltration, capture, and political bargaining. (Chapters 1,195–1,226, 1,568, 1,582–1,583, 1,669)

Keys to the Temple halls

When the Temple of Confucius opens, the amulets resonate with their corresponding halls, influence where holders are transported, and permit entry through otherwise impassable seals. Zhang's party can substitute awakened unique constitutions for missing subordinate keys because those bloodlines supplied the original forging basis. The amulets are also staked in disputes outside the halls, but their decisive function is authorization, not brute-force battle. (Chapters 1,568, 1,668–1,725, 1,741–1,894)

Abilities and properties

Each Subordinate Amulet resonates with one matching hall, guides or transports its holder toward that inheritance, and opens the hall's invisible barrier. A fully awakened corresponding constitution can serve as a substitute. The Prime Amulet can command subordinate pieces and authorize broader temple access, but remains a distinct sentient member of the set. The keys do not automatically grant the inheritances inside the halls or let an Ancient Sage ignore the temple's cultivation restrictions. (Chapters 1,568, 1,583, 1,669, 1,718–1,751)
