Biography

The Final Wall meets Yu Jitae

Sillardo is Lair's security director, a Great War veteran, and a former humanitarian leader whose career is defined by suppressing dangerous superhumans. When the munitions department calls for help during Yu Jitae's rampage, he arrives with shield and hammer, identifies the offences, and attempts a lawful arrest. Jitae initially cooperates, but Sillardo blocks further questioning because he wants control of the scene. That obstinacy turns a manageable arrest into a contest between institutional authority and overwhelming individual force. (Chapters 115–116)

Sillardo refuses to excuse the security failure and resolves to do his duty from that point forward. He isolates Jitae inside his alternate dimension, activates layers of restraints and augmentation, and declares an execution domain designed to suppress stronger opponents. The domain absorbs far more power than he has ever encountered, yet Jitae walks through every restraint and drives him through the academy into a thirty-metre crater. Sillardo survives with ruined internal organs because his shield and defensive skills blunt part of the impact. (Chapters 116–118)

The defeat damages neither Sillardo's devotion to public safety nor his ability to continue serving. Bandaged in the first-aid centre, he greets BM without resentment and later personally answers another call involving Jitae. Their second meeting is awkward rather than hostile: Sillardo admits that his body has not fully recovered, while Jitae asks after his condition. The man predicted to matter in a future war remains alive and on duty, though his complete physical recovery is not shown. (Chapters 118, 137)

Appearance and personality

Sillardo is a giant-blood-enhanced man more than three metres tall. He has a massive body, deep eyebrows, and a rigid expression, and wears shining plate armour while carrying a blue shield and war hammer. His size makes the already tall Jitae appear small beside him. After their battle he is wrapped in bandages, and at their later meeting he still says his body has not returned to normal. (Chapters 115–118, 137)

He is stern, dutiful, obstinate, and fundamentally committed to protecting humanity. Sillardo insists on procedure and does not invent excuses when Jitae points out Lair's failure, but his need to lead the arrest causes unnecessary escalation. He recognizes danger quickly, commits every available defence once battle becomes unavoidable, and responds to defeat with an awkward smile rather than vindictiveness. His strictness is therefore rooted in responsibility, even when his judgment is imperfect. (Chapters 116, 118, 137)

Powers and abilities

Giant-blood physique and world rank

A transfusion of giant's blood enlarged Sillardo to more than three metres and gave him the body underlying his physical suppression style. He was already a world ranker during the Great War and is officially World Rank 53 in the seventh iteration. He can shake an alternate dimension with his charge, wield a huge hammer and shield, and instinctively intercept Jitae's nearly invisible stab. No later rank change is established. Alternate dimension and Blue Ocean

Sillardo can unfold an intricately constructed alternate dimension filled with azure light. Within it, Blue Ocean (A+) synchronizes his body with the dimension and coats him in blue power, creating the foundation for his restraints and domain. The exact size, casting time, and maintenance cost are not stated. Jitae's attack shatters the dimension, proving that overwhelming force can break the space and end the techniques dependent on it. Steel Chains of Avian and Aura of Peace

Steel Chains of Avian (A-) produces seven large chains from the dimension's walls and ceiling to bind a target's limbs, torso, and neck. The chains are described as unavoidable while the target remains inside Sillardo's dimension, but they cannot stop Jitae from walking forward. Aura of Peace (A) supplies seemingly inexhaustible stamina and explosively increases Sillardo's physical abilities. He combines both with more than ten B-rank skills, whose individual effects are not named. (Chapter 116)

Execution Ground Declaration

Execution Ground Declaration (AA+) creates a judge's territory centred on Sillardo. Targets proclaimed evil lose a portion of their abilities, and the removed power supplements Sillardo. Against previous rankers it normally absorbs power equal to roughly thirty percent of his own statistics, sometimes forty percent; against Jitae, the display reads 833 percent. Even that extraordinary transfer cannot overcome Jitae, so the authority weakens stronger opponents but does not guarantee control or protect Sillardo from a target beyond its practical scale. Defensive specialization

Sillardo's shield, layered blessings, and instincts make him exceptionally difficult to kill. He twice positions the shield against the Shapeless Sword, channels enough mana through it to push a mountain, and survives a strike that sends him through walls and destabilizes Haytling's altitude. The defence has limits: the impact passes through the shield, destroys his internal organs, cracks the artifact, and leaves him unconscious with an incomplete recovery later. (Chapters 116–118, 137)

Relationships

Yu Jitae

Sillardo approaches Jitae as a suspect whose strength does not place him above the law. Jitae respects Sillardo's future importance to humanity but refuses to tolerate interference with his immediate objective. Their battle establishes the enormous gap between them without turning Sillardo into a lasting enemy. When they meet again, both acknowledge the injury and the recurrence with dry awkwardness rather than reopening the conflict. (Chapters 115–118, 137)

BM

BM and Sillardo are old acquaintances from the upper ranks of the superhuman world. BM visits him in the first-aid centre, apologizes on Jitae's behalf, and notes that Sillardo and the shield survived better than expected. Sillardo's lack of hostility helps BM redirect the disciplinary hearing toward the munitions department whose bribery placed cadets in danger. (Chapter 118)

Lair and its sentries

As director, Sillardo embodies Lair's strictest investigative authority and commands sentries known for physically crushing violent resistance. He sees control of dangerous superhumans as his specialty and accepts responsibility when security fails. His defeat becomes a campus-wide meme, but he returns to answer calls personally, preserving his institutional role despite the damage to his reputation and body. (Chapters 115–120, 137)

Fragment of the Great Wall

Fragment of the Great Wall is Sillardo's large blue shield and the core of his defensive style. It blocks Jitae's invisible stab, channels the power absorbed by Execution Ground Declaration, and survives the final impact with only a small crack. The shield reduces rather than nullifies transmitted force, leaving Sillardo's organs badly damaged despite the artifact remaining usable. (Chapters 115–118)

War hammer and armour

Sillardo carries a large war hammer that gathers blue mana until its strike resembles a falling comet. He also wears plate armour when responding to security incidents. Jitae repels the hammer's first demonstrated attack, and no special mechanics or grades are given for either the hammer or armour. (Chapters 115–116, 137)
