A Professor's Conflict with Yeorum's Training

Ha Yoon approaches Yu Jitae because Yeorum's solitary use of increasingly dangerous training settings appears, by normal cadet standards, likely to cause permanent injury. Her concern is genuine but rests on a teaching model that does not account for Yeorum's body. When Yu Jitae demonstrates that Yeorum can hold a Level 20 lightning orb without harm, Ha Yoon accepts his responsibility as guardian and relays his instruction that the staff should stop interfering, even though his rejection of Lair's methods wounds her professional pride. Discipline During the Competition

Ha Yoon remains committed to a conventional ideal in which cadets become strong enough to protect others while earning public trust. At the competition interview she again urges Yu Jitae to correct Yeorum's behavior, warning that unchecked conduct may ultimately harm the cadet herself. She applies the same standard to Zhou Luxun, urgently reprimanding him after his provocative broadcast and trying to persuade him rather than simply punish him. Her efforts reveal both consistency and constraint: she can advise and discipline, but cannot compel either guardian or cadet to accept her pedagogy. (Chapters 106, 111)

Appearance and personality

Ha Yoon is a short, thin, middle-aged woman with a sharp gaze and the bearing of a surviving front-line soldier. She is direct, serious about educational duty, and particularly attentive to preventable training injuries. Her pride in Lair's system can make her judgment rigid, yet she does not ignore contrary evidence; after Yeorum demonstrates unusual resistance, Ha Yoon withdraws and carries out Yu Jitae's request despite her discomfort. Powers and abilities

Ha Yoon's demonstrated expertise is instructional rather than a named combat technique. As an Interpersonal Combat Skill adjunct professor and leader of the Moonlight study group, she supervises combat training and mentors high-achieving cadets. Her front-line background and knowledge of mana-training hazards let her identify the normal risks of a Level 20 lightning orb, including burned eyes, damaged blood vessels, and possible cardiac failure in a young superhuman. That expertise is calibrated to human cadets. Yeorum's exceptional durability makes Ha Yoon's otherwise reasonable safety assessment inaccurate, and Yu Jitae's overwhelming presence limits her ability to contest his decision. No personal fighting style, rank, named ability, or on-page combat performance is established, so her own combat ceiling cannot be determined. (Chapter 90)

Relationships

• Yeorum: Ha Yoon sees Yeorum as a gifted but endangered and ill-mannered cadet. Their conflict centers on whether discipline and standardized safety rules protect Yeorum or obstruct training suited to her unusual body.
• Yu Jitae: Ha Yoon challenges his permissive guardianship twice. She remains unconvinced by his educational philosophy, but complies after he proves her physical-risk assessment does not fit Yeorum.
• Zhou Luxun: Zhou belongs to Ha Yoon's Moonlight study group. She admonishes his public provocation and tries to guide him back toward the conduct she expects from a cadet.
