White-Robed Paragon
White-Robed Paragon is a legendary cultivator dwelling in the Ruins of Immortality. Her appearance terrifies ancient beings and draws reverence from the Ninth Mountain and Sea's Patriarchs. She observes Meng Hao during the Three Great Daoist Societies' tournament and later names him thirteenth in the Echelon.
Biography
The Wider Ninth Mountain and Sea
The Paragon approaches the ancient Dao Tree to the sound of a sorrowful song. A battle-ax circles her, the Ruins' other powerful beings flee or kowtow, and even the Ninth Mountain's ancient will reacts to her arrival. She watches the tournament in silence, showing particular curiosity toward Meng Hao's devilish will and Eternal stratum. After his final victory over Zhao Yifan, she follows him deeper into the Ruins. (Chapters 872–878), (Chapters 881–882)
From her drifting Immortal's cave, she appoints Meng Hao thirteenth in the Echelon and places a seal on him that can preserve his soul twice. She explains that the Echelon's highest-ranked members will eventually journey beyond the Nine Mountains and Seas to investigate an ancient war, then gives him a one-use teleportation jade slip. Her rare tenderness at the mention of the League of Demon Sealers suggests a painful connection to its past. (Chapter 883)
She later watches events from her cave, briefly smiles at Meng Hao's intuition, and approves of his growth. When his destiny and good fortune produce the unprecedented Immortal Emperor phenomenon, she rises, declares him worthy of the League of Demon Sealers, mournfully wonders whether Immortal Ancient and Nine Seals still exist, and restarts the sun and moon with a wave. (Chapter 976), (Chapter 997)
Nine Seas and the Windswept Realm
Paragon Sea Dream intervenes repeatedly in the Ruins of Immortality, killing Yi Fazi's Dao Protector, taking Li Ling'er as her disciple, separating Meng Hao's party, and reacting when Paragon Nine Seals' blood shakes the realm. (Chapter 1024), (Chapters 1034–1035), (Chapter 1056)
She oversees the Windswept Realm expedition and battles the Windswept Imperial Lord outside it. When the realm rebels, her convergence light extracts the Mountain and Sea cultivators. Meng Hao later confronts her over the plan; she answers only part of his challenge, gives him a fragment of the Ruins, and departs with Li Ling'er. (Chapter 1115), (Chapters 1134–1135), (Chapter 1140), (Chapter 1142), (Chapters 1145–1146), (Chapters 1148–1153)
She later watches Meng Hao fuse the Bridge of Immortal Treading fragments into the Paragon Bridge and speaks from the Ruins of Immortality as the bridge accepts its new form. (Chapter 1204)
Meng Clan and the Mountain and Sea War
Sea Dream directs the Realm's defense against the descending Heavens, battles Eegoo and Xuan Fang, and helps Meng Hao turn Eegoo's emptied body into the Paragon puppet. She remains a central defender through the destruction of the first invading Heaven and the next stage of the war. (Chapters 1317, 1319, 1323 and 1335), (Chapters 1337–1339), (Chapters 1341–1342), (Chapters 1344–1352), (Chapters 1354–1360), (Chapters 1362–1368), (Chapters 1372–1374)
She fights the 8-Essences invaders and supports the final retreat. After the Mountain and Sea Realm falls, she activates the purpose for which she cultivated the Echelon: Dao-Heaven and Yuwen Jian surrender their life forces, and her reincarnation magic uses their Echelon marks, her memories, and her life-force Essence to send their remaining souls toward the Immortal God Continent and Devil Realm. The technique destroys their bodies and consumes part of an Essence that she has already depleted in war, leaving her withered and near death. (Chapters 1378–1381), (Chapters 1383–1388), (Chapter 1390), (Chapters 1392–1393), (Chapters 1396–1399)
Sea Dream then burns every remnant of cultivation and life force into divine sense rather than preserving a path to her own reincarnation. The expanding perception finds the time-warped black-and-white vortex around the Green Coffin, but the search dissolves her body into light. Her last motes push the Mountain and Sea Butterfly toward that refuge and transmit the route to its custodians. She cannot save the Realm that was destroyed; her final act instead gives its survivors a direction in the Vast Expanse. (Chapters 1399–1400)
Appearance and personality
She is a stunningly beautiful woman in a snow-white gown. Her face is usually cold and emotionless, while her tranquil gaze carries profound loneliness. Reminiscence, sorrow, and rare tenderness surface around ancient artifacts, the Echelon, and the League of Demon Sealers. She is remote and commanding, yet responds practically when Meng Hao points out that an Echelon candidate stranded in the Ruins would likely die.
Abilities and cultivation
Paragon cultivation and Essences
Sea Dream is a Paragon whose cultivation and Essence place her above ordinary Dao Realm experts. Her mere arrival drives ancient beings from the Ruins or forces them to worship, and she can kill a Dao Protector at a distance with a pointing gesture. She can also restart the arrested sun and moon, oppose invading Paragons, and project perception far beyond a normal cultivator's range. These feats are not costless: the Mountain and Sea war burns away her life force, and the reincarnation and final divine-sense techniques consume her Essence and cultivation until her body and soul disperse. (Chapters 873, 997, 1024, 1317–1376 and 1378–1400)
Hidden presence and long-range perception
Although physically visible, Sea Dream is absent from the divine sense of the ancient entities surrounding the Dao Tree, demonstrating concealment on a level that defeats their spiritual perception. At the end of the war she reverses that principle, converting her entire remaining cultivation base into divine sense. The resulting search crosses the Vast Expanse and detects the Green Coffin Vortex, including its time-shifting outer region, but maintaining that range consumes her body from the feet upward and ultimately prevents her reincarnation. (Chapters 873 and 1399–1400)
Echelon seals
Sea Dream can judge a cultivator's qualifications and impose an Echelon mark that its recipient cannot simply decline. Meng Hao qualifies through Paragon-magic enlightenment, victory in the Ninth Mountain and Sea arena, and recognition by a Daoist Society. His mark can prevent his soul from being destroyed exactly twice; it is protection against soul extermination, not general invulnerability. In her final plan, the same class of mark surrounds Dao-Heaven and Yuwen Jian and becomes the medium through which their bodies turn to ash and their soul strands enter reincarnation paths. (Chapters 882–883 and 1399)
Reincarnation magic
Her prepared Echelon mission sends one surviving Echelon soul toward the Devil Realm and another toward the Immortal God Continent. It requires the subjects' life forces, their Echelon marks, Sea Dream's own memories of those destinations, and a sacrifice of her life-force Essence. The method preserves only a soul strand and offers a possible route to reincarnation; Sea Dream explicitly cannot guarantee success after the souls enter the Vast Expanse. (Chapter 1399)
Convergence, extraction, and transit
Sea Dream can use convergence light to extract Mountain and Sea cultivators from the collapsing Windswept Realm, a large-scale intervention rather than a personal attack. She can also create a one-use teleportation jade slip capable of taking its holder to any destination the holder can clearly recall. The slip solves Meng Hao's immediate escape from the Ruins, but its single-use restriction and dependence on remembered coordinates prevent unlimited travel. (Chapters 883 and 1145–1153)
Power progression
| Stage / Realm / Ability | Chapter(s) | Notes |

| War-depleted Paragon | 1317–1376 | Repeated opposition to invading Paragons burns her life force and reduces the reserve behind her former effortless displays. |
| Essence converted to divine sense; dispersal | 1399–1400 | A final search across the Vast Expanse consumes her cultivation, body, soul, and chance at reincarnation to locate a possible refuge. |
