Wei Li
Wei Li is a Seahold cultivator who guides Meng Hao through the Milky Way Sea settlement and its sect politics.
Biography
Rescue and journey to Seahold
Meng Hao rescues Wei Li from danger in the Milky Way Sea. Grateful and newly vulnerable after the crisis, she promises to aid him and becomes his guide to Seahold. During the journey she carefully explains local flight treasures, defensive clothing, residences, and entry rules. What begins as improvised guidance becomes meticulous work: after Meng Hao repeatedly declares that he will buy the best of everything, she records his choices on a jade slip rather than relying on memory. Her explanations give him the local knowledge needed to enter a tightly controlled maritime city. (Chapter 660)
At the gate, a powerful Madam Lin personally gives Meng Hao a gold medallion. Wei Li's assumptions about her mysterious companion are repeatedly overturned as city guards and cultivators treat him with extraordinary respect. She nevertheless continues doing the practical work: locating the Cloudburst Pavilion, accompanying him through the purchase of a war chariot, and finding the expensive private residence where they stay. The day exposes her to wealth and power far beyond her former life and leaves Meng Hao's image deeply impressed on her, though she recognizes the difference in their status. (Chapters 660–663)
Demon-heart negotiations
Wei Li continues guiding Meng Hao through clothing shops and to the Sun Soul Society. She is irritated when his performance of wealthy superiority disregards her advice, showing that gratitude has not erased her private judgment. At the exchange, she identifies Seahold's famous shopkeepers and warns Meng Hao about their cultivation and standing. As the traders attempt to overwhelm him with a collective wager, she worries about the consequences of a loss and shelters behind him when their pressure becomes physically dangerous. The reveal of his immense Demon-heart fortune leaves her stunned along with the experts. (Chapters 666–669)
She accompanies Meng Hao and Sun Yunliang to Saint Sun Soul's tower, but remains below rather than intruding into the senior meeting. After the negotiations and the events surrounding Meng Hao's cultivation, he seeks her out before departing and gives her a large sum of Spirit Stones. Their association ends as it began—with material protection from Meng Hao—but Wei Li has also served as the local interpreter who made his Seahold dealings possible. (Chapters 670, 672, and 674)
Appearance and personality
Wei Li is a young woman; the supplied chapters do not establish a more sustained physical portrait. She is soft-spoken, observant, and cautious about offending a powerful stranger, yet professional enough to maintain detailed records and volunteer useful warnings. Her expressions move freely from grief and fear to excitement, irritation, concern, and astonishment. She is attracted to Meng Hao's growing mystery but remains aware of the social gulf between them.
Abilities and cultivation
Wei Li is a local cultivator whose narrative value lies in expertise and judgment rather than demonstrated combat.
Seahold knowledge
She understands the Third Ring's travel customs, identity-medallion system, defensive garments, housing market, major businesses, and senior shopkeepers. She can turn that knowledge into a usable itinerary and records Meng Hao's intended purchases on a jade slip. Her expertise is local and practical; she cannot predict the exceptional treatment his hidden identity earns. (Chapters 660–667)
Cultivation and endurance
Wei Li can fly and accompany cultivators around Seahold, but Meng Hao's speed is beyond anything she has experienced. During the Sun Soul confrontation, pressure from senior cultivators is strong enough that she believes she would physically explode without Meng Hao shielding her. The text does not name a personal technique, realm, or combat application, so none is inferred. (Chapters 660 and 667–669)
