Song Luodan is the Song Clan's Dao Child, a spear-wielding Chosen who repeatedly competes with Meng Hao during the new era of true Immortals.

Biography

Immortal Ancient Daoist Rite Temple

Song Luodan enters the narrative as the Song Clan's young lord and Dao Child among the off-world delegations at the reopened Immortal Ancient Daoist Rite Temple. The temple suppresses ordinary advantages through ancient restrictions and forces the Chosen to compete around its well, projections, and surviving inheritances. Song Luodan endures the changing rules, fights for good fortune, and remains through the final vision and collapse. (Chapters 806, 810, 812–815 and 817–819)

Meng Hao's manipulation of the temple projections catches Song Luodan along with other Chosen and redirects ancient forces against the competitors. He survives, but the episode establishes a recurring relationship: Song Luodan possesses the preparation expected of a great-clan heir, while Meng Hao changes the terms of the contest faster than established heirs can control them. True-Immortal rivalry

Song Luodan competes in the Three Great Daoist Societies' tournament and later visits the Fang Clan during the East Ascension Sun. He measures his own progress against Meng Hao's rise and follows the latter's unprecedented true-Immortal tribulation from afar. The new era allows Song Luodan to become a true Immortal in his own right, but Meng Hao's meridians and tribulation create a benchmark that conventional Chosen cannot match individually. He therefore joins five other newly ascended Chosen in attacking Meng Hao. Song Luodan brings an ancient green spear, a Song Clan secret method, and eleven manifested Immortal souls. The combination amplifies his meridians and gives the coalition genuine high-level force, but coordinated numbers still fail against Meng Hao's deeper true-Immortal foundation. The defeat does not make Song Luodan powerless; it places his otherwise elite cultivation in the correct hierarchy. Eleven Immortal souls and clan arts make him exceptional among ordinary true Immortals, while Meng Hao's unique path stands beyond that peer group. (Chapters 984 and 986–987)

Nine Seas and the Windswept Realm

When Meng Hao arrives to collect the old debt, Song Luodan has already assembled payment. The preparation shows that he treats the Karmic obligation seriously rather than hoping distance or time will erase it. A Song Clan courier nearly reignites conflict through disrespect, but Song Luodan prevents the subordinate's behavior from overturning the larger settlement. (Chapter 1205)

He then converts a former enemy into a hired solution to an internal clan problem, paying Meng Hao to expose his rival Song Luoshen. The decision is pragmatic and politically aware: Song Luodan cannot simply attack a rival faction without consequence, while Meng Hao's intervention can reveal the truth from outside that structure. He later watches Meng Hao depart toward the Wang Clan, their relationship recast from battlefield opponents to creditor and client. (Chapter 1206)

Appearance and personality

Song Luodan carries the bearing of a young clan lord and is most visually associated with his ancient green spear and the eleven Immortal souls manifested around his true-Immortal power. His presentation emphasizes disciplined clan cultivation rather than an unusual bodily form. (Chapters 984 and 986–987)

He is proud and competitive, but capable of planning after defeat. Joining the six-person attack shows ambition and confidence in collective strength; preparing repayment years later shows that he can accept consequences. Hiring Meng Hao against Song Luoshen further reveals political pragmatism: Song Luodan prefers a workable arrangement with a superior former enemy to empty posturing that would harm his clan position. Abilities and cultivation

True-Immortal cultivation

Song Luodan completes his ascension during the new era and establishes Immortal meridians. He is a genuine Chosen-level true Immortal, but his foundation remains below Meng Hao's unprecedented meridian structure. (Chapters 957–972 and 984–987)

Eleven Immortal souls

His cultivation can manifest eleven souls as a structured amplification of Immortal power. They increase pressure and offensive output, but are finite and do not bridge the entire gap to Meng Hao when the coalition attacks. (Chapters 984 and 986–987)

A clan method amplifies his meridians and integrates ancestral cultivation with his true-Immortal state. Its strength depends on the meridians and souls already established; it does not create unlimited power independently of the user's foundation. (Chapters 984 and 986–987)

Ancient green spear

Song Luodan channels his combat power through a spear with ancient provenance. It gives him reach and concentrated killing force, but remains a weapon Meng Hao can overcome rather than an inheritance that guarantees victory. (Chapters 984 and 986–987)

Heavenly blade Dao

The Song Clan's blade-oriented Dao contributes to his offensive repertoire alongside the spear and souls. The mixed arsenal demonstrates breadth, while the six-person defeat shows that breadth cannot substitute for a superior cultivation base. (Chapters 984 and 986–987)

Karmic obligation

Meng Hao's imposed debt persists across years and can be collected later. Song Luodan cannot dispel it casually, so he prepares material payment and negotiates rather than challenging the technique. (Chapters 986–987 and 1205–1206)
