Patriarch Six-Daos
Patriarch Six-Daos is the true Black Sieve Sect patriarch who imprisons Xu Qing's soul, breaks his bargain with Meng Hao, and destroys himself in a failed attempt to wield another sect's legacy sword.
Biography
Xu Qing as bait
Six-Daos keeps Xu Qing's soul in a crystal sphere and offers Meng Hao a bargain because he senses both crisis and good fortune around him. Meng Hao completes the demanded task and attacks with the Black White Pearls, but Six-Daos admits that he never keeps promises, damages the crystal, and continues tormenting the soul. Patriarch Blood Demon intervenes, rescues Meng Hao's cause, and cripples Six-Daos's foundation instead of killing him so Meng Hao can take revenge later. (Chapters 700–703)
Decline and coalition war
The damaged foundation causes Six-Daos to fall from peak Dao Seeking toward the early stage. Humiliation and fear turn into obsessive hatred of Meng Hao and the Blood Demon Sect. When the Southern Domain coalition forms, he mobilizes the Black Sieve disciples and their river of discarnate souls, then burns longevity through a secret art to temporarily regain enough strength to fight Blood Demon's clones. (Chapters 724–740)
Rejected by the bamboo sword
The Dawn Immortal sends him to destroy Mount Blood Demon, and the Solitary Sword Sect loans him its bamboo legacy sword. Its Time power breaks shield layers and gives him confidence, but Meng Hao awakens the sword's own will and turns it against the borrower. Six-Daos blocks with his incense burner until it shatters; unwilling to let the sword consume his longevity, he explodes his own body to evade the stab. His discarnate soul is then seized and fed into the coalition's statue-puppet, ending his control and life. (Chapters 742–749)
Appearance and personality
Six-Daos appears zombie-like, with a hoarse voice and a stiff, ghastly smile. He is perceptive enough to recognize layered Dao concepts and practical enough to use hostages, but openly faithless and cruel. After his foundation falls, revenge overrides caution, leaving him dependent on burned longevity and a weapon that never accepts him. (Chapters 700–701 and 724–743)
Abilities and cultivation
Yellow Springs and burning-incense worlds
His incense burner releases a Yellow Springs river with a death aura, burning-incense images, and worlds whose worshippers merge into statues of Six-Daos. These layers disperse a billion souls and contest the Black White Pearls, but the pearls' combined Karma, truth, life-death, reincarnation, Heaven, and Earth principles still injure him. (Chapters 700–701)
Discarnate-soul command
Six-Daos controls a river of roughly one hundred thousand discarnate souls, including Spirit Severing power, and can send them as a mass formation. The host expands his sect's battlefield reach but depends on his authority; after his bodily death another patriarch simply takes control and feeds the river into a puppet. (Chapters 734–746)
Longevity-burning restoration
After Blood Demon cripples his foundation, Six-Daos burns lifespan to temporarily recover battle strength. The method lets a declining early-to-mid Dao Seeking cultivator rejoin a peak-level exchange, but does not repair the foundation and accelerates the cost already imposed by his injuries. (Chapters 724–740)
Borrowed bamboo sword and Time power
The Solitary Sword Sect's legacy sword can create a thirty-thousand-meter beam and age whatever its ripples touch. Six-Daos can supply cultivation and direct its initial attacks but never owns its will. Meng Hao's affinity causes the sword to defect, converting Six-Daos's strongest borrowed weapon into the threat that forces him to destroy his body. (Chapters 742–743)
