Nine Seas Middle-Aged Demonic Cultivator
Nine Seas Middle-Aged Demonic Cultivator is an unnamed member of the Demonic Cultivator Horde who survives entry into the Windswept Realm. His attempt to seize a white fox's Divine Demon jade demonstrates both the outsiders' sense of impunity and the danger of hidden experts within the supposedly weaker realm.
Biography
Nine Seas and the Windswept Realm
The middle-aged cultivator is among the Demonic outsiders who survive the lethal sealing-mark selection and travel with the Ninth Nation delegation. When he sees a white fox cultivating beside a waterfall with white jade on its head, he identifies the object as Divine Demon jade. Meng Hao warns him not to approach, but he sends out divine sense, detects no obvious threat, and assumes that a realm capped below his expectations cannot stop him. (Chapters 1089–1091)
As he reaches for the jade, a hidden voice orders him to leave using Demon Mantra: Mesmeric Rebuke. The command turns his own divine sense into an attack on mind and body, hurling him hundreds of meters while he coughs blood. He understands that the speaker withheld killing intent, bows in terror, and retreats to his ship. The encounter checks the other outsiders' greed as well: none of them impulsively seize later treasures on the journey. The unnamed survivor subsequently separates from the procession with the other cultivators; the corpus does not distinguish his individual fate in the national fighting that follows. (Chapter 1092)
Appearance and personality
He is identified as a middle-aged man. Greed and confidence override an explicit warning when he believes local cultivation is limited, but he is pragmatic enough to recognize overwhelming power immediately and offer a respectful retreat.
Abilities and cultivation
Demonic cultivation and flight
He can fly independently, use divine sense to probe the waterfall, and survive the Windswept entry struggle. The supplied passage does not state his exact realm or show a named personal attack, so describing him more precisely as Ancient or Immortal Realm would go beyond the attributable evidence.
Divine-sense perception
His divine sense finds no abnormality around the fox and waterfall, demonstrating ordinary supernatural perception but also its limitation against a sufficiently powerful concealed cultivator. Mesmeric Rebuke weaponizes that same faculty against him: because the technique causes a target's divine sense to attack itself, a stronger sense can produce a worse backlash rather than better protection.
Sealing-mark survival
As an accepted survivor, he benefits from a red sealing mark that prevents the Windswept Realm's Heavenly thunder from erasing him during entry. The mark is external authorization, not personal durability, and offers no defense against residents such as the waterfall cultivator.
