Meng Hong
Meng Hong is one of Meng Hao's two maternal granduncles and a senior survivor of the Meng Clan's suppressed tenth bloodline.
Biography
A bloodline reduced to servants
Meng Hong lives with Grandma Meng and the remnants of their branch after its experts disappear and the other bloodlines force its widows, children, and weakened elders to the clan's margins. He and Meng Yan are the branch's strongest adult men, yet a curse lodged in their bodies has crippled their cultivation and helped make organized resistance impossible. They receive Meng Hao as a returned kinsman only after he rescues Meng Ru and reaches their remote residence. (Chapters 1255–1257)
Meng Hao discovers that the suppression is physical as well as political: black spikes connected to the bloodline curse have been driven into the two granduncles. Removing them restores what the curse had sealed rather than gifting the men unrelated new power. Meng Hong endures the treatment and joins the family as Meng Hao gathers scattered relatives and purges the curse's influence. (Chapters 1257–1259)
Return to the ancestral mansion
With the curse broken, Meng Hong's cultivation returns to the great circle of the Ancient Realm, strong enough that he and Meng Yan can contend with Quasi-Dao opponents together. When Grandma Meng leads the tenth bloodline back into the ancestral mansion, Meng Hong openly demonstrates that recovery: every step he takes produces booming impacts through the ground, clouds, and air. His advance helps overturn the assumption that the branch can still be bullied without consequence. (Chapters 1263–1265)
The family nevertheless follows Grandma Meng's judgment rather than launching indiscriminate revenge. Meng Hong accompanies her while she reclaims their former district and allows Meng Hao to handle the hostile first-bloodline cultivators. Appearance and personality
The text does not provide a stable physical portrait for Meng Hong. His conduct is steadier than theatrical: he survives years of imposed weakness, accepts painful treatment, and supports Grandma Meng's measured return. His booming advance after recovery conveys long-suppressed confidence without showing him abusing the weaker clan members who once despised his branch.

Restored Ancient Realm cultivation
Meng Hong reaches—or returns to—the great circle of the Ancient Realm once the implanted curse-spikes are removed. His movement alone creates layered booming through earth, clouds, and sky, an outward sign that the branch's senior power is no longer sealed. The text estimates that he and Meng Yan together could fight a Quasi-Dao cultivator; it does not establish either man as independently Quasi-Dao.
Bloodline curse recovery
His recovery demonstrates the curse's mechanics. The spikes suppress existing cultivation and weaken the family through a shared bloodline connection. Removal releases sealed power, but Meng Hong does not himself cast, control, or dispel the curse.
