Ji Xiaoxiao
Ji Xiaoxiao is a beautiful, calculating Ji Clan Chosen whose rivalry with Fang Yu leads to her becoming Meng Hao's unwilling informant during the Demon Immortal Sect expedition.
Biography
Rivalry and failed trap
Ji Xiaoxiao pursues Meng Hao partly because she has competed with Fang Yu since childhood. In the Primordial Demon Immortal Plane she joins Ji Mingfeng's attempt to trap Fang Yu long enough to miss the transition into ancient times. When Meng Hao reverses position, Ji Xiaoxiao attacks with a bursting bubble, only to be overwhelmed by Fang Yu and Meng Hao's mastiff; Ji Mingfeng carries her away. (Chapters 561–563)
Host body crisis and coerced bargain
In the Second Plane she acquires a host body but is horrified to discover that Meng Hao has the legendary identity of Elite Apprentice Ke Jiusi. Surrounded by his silkpants followers, she saves herself by revealing the location of Ji Mingfeng's corpse and gives Meng Hao a soul strand as security. She then manages the political consequence by preparing a false explanation for the Ji Clan and apparently removes Song Yunshu, a dangerous witness. (Chapters 577–596)
Informant inside the Ji Clan
Meng Hao later makes her lead him through restrictive spells to Ji Mingfeng's remains. Both understand the consequence: because she is a genuine clan member, helping Meng Hao binds her to him more tightly than an outsider could be bound. She complies, accepts the continuing leverage, and reduces the Ji expedition's killing intent toward him. Years later, now married and aged, she returns what is owed when Meng Hao confronts the Ji Clan. (Chapters 607–610 and 1168)
Appearance and personality
Ji Xiaoxiao has an icy, striking beauty, phoenix-like eyes, and a slender figure; by her final appearance she wears a married woman's clothing and visibly shows age. She is competitive, narrow-minded, politically alert, and ruthless enough to silence a witness, but also pragmatic enough to surrender a soul strand when survival requires it. Her final conflicted bitterness reflects the distance between youthful rivalry and the life that followed. (Chapters 561–564, 593, and 1168)
Abilities and cultivation
Ji Clan augury knowledge
She understands the Ji Dao Children's augury methods and the timing rules governing entry into the Demon Immortal Plane's ancient period. This knowledge lets her plan a three-day trap that would deny Fang Yu a host body. It is strategic foresight, not infallibility; Meng Hao and Fang Yu disrupt the plan before it can mature. Bubble technique
Ji Xiaoxiao points to create an enormous bubble that shatters directly in front of an opponent. The burst functions as an immediate obstruction or explosive attack, but Meng Hao's group withstands the exchange and Fang Yu strikes her before she can build a sustained defense. (Chapter 562)
Host-body survival and restrictive spells
She successfully operates through a Second Plane host and knows the restrictions guarding Ji Mingfeng's hidden corpse. Her expertise permits safe passage and clandestine retrieval, yet Meng Hao's superior divine sense and strength make it impossible for her to convert that terrain into an escape from his leverage. Relationships
