Hairy #3 is one of five starving Greenwood Wolf pups nurtured by Meng Hao into exceptional level-two neo-demons. It is distinguished by a pressure-laden howl that agitates the totems and cultivation bases of lower-level Crow Scout cultivators.

Biography

Growth under Meng Hao

Hairy #3 begins in the Crow Scout Tribe’s kennels with four equally neglected pups. Hunger makes them howl and strain toward Meng Hao’s Demon Nurturing Pill, but his response is sustained care rather than a single feeding. He gives them food, studies their condition, and uses Demonic Qi in a pill that draws them out of the kennel. The spiritual nourishment accelerates all five wolves into unusually strong level-two neo-demons and makes experienced Dragoneers question how such growth occurred. (Chapters 393–396)

The improved wolves gather protectively around Meng Hao when Wu Chen enters. Hairy #3 later rests near him and follows him to the public neo-demon duel. These quiet actions establish the pack’s baseline relationship before rival Dragoneers test it: the wolves stay because they recognize a caretaker, not because a momentary spell is continuously forcing them to remain. Howl before the Crow Scout Tribe

During Meng Hao’s demonstration, Hairy #3 lifts its head and howls. The sound carries spiritual pressure through the gathering, causing the cultivation bases of Foundation Establishment and lower tribe members to rotate involuntarily and their totem tattoos to shine. The effect shocks the Crow Scout observers because a nominal level-two Greenwood Wolf is influencing the totem systems of many cultivators at once. (Chapter 402)

Mo Fang attempts to take the pack with high-grade incense, refined Searchtree Deer meat, water, magic, and a Demon Nurturing Pill. Hairy #3 briefly studies the meat, then loses interest and ignores the remaining methods. During Gu La’s later attack, it answers Big Hairy’s call, fights with the other wolves against Zombie Wolves, and regains confidence when Meng Hao arrives. Its progression therefore moves from instinctive hunger to controlled indifference toward food offered by an untrusted master. (Chapters 403–404 and 412–414)

Appearance and personality

The source identifies Hairy #3 as a Greenwood Wolf but gives no unique coat pattern. It is loyal, calm around attempted bribery, and socially responsive to its pack leader. Its glance at the refined meat shows that resistance is not the absence of appetite; the wolf notices the lure and consciously finds it less compelling than its existing bond.

Abilities and cultivation

Demonic Qi advancement

Meng Hao’s concentrated Demonic Qi combines with food and care to change Hairy #3 from a starving pup into an exceptional level-two neo-demon. The process strengthens body and spiritual presence. It is induced nurturing, not a self-activated battle transformation.

Totem-stirring howl

Hairy #3’s howl carries pressure that forces Foundation Establishment and lower cultivation bases to rotate and makes totem tattoos flare. The technique affects a crowd rather than one target and operates through sound or projected aura. The scene does not show it injuring those cultivators, so its confirmed function is intimidation and spiritual disruption rather than direct killing.

Resistance to taming lures

Mo Fang’s incense is strong enough to agitate ordinary Greenwood totems, and his refined meat is said to be irresistible to Greenwood Wolves. Hairy #3 still turns away. This demonstrates that Meng Hao’s nurture creates loyalty stronger than the tested appetites and taming methods, while not proving immunity to unrelated soul techniques.

Coordinated pack combat

Hairy #3 can respond immediately to Big Hairy’s summons and join a synchronized attack. Multiple wolves surround, pressure, and tear apart Zombie Wolves that initially appear intimidating. The need for Meng Hao’s arrival to restore confidence shows that the pack remains emotionally vulnerable under severe pressure.
