Flamephoenix

The Flamephoenix is the intelligent flame sovereign of the Ice-Fire Realm. She attacks Meng Hao to protect the copper mirror shard stabilizing her world, then becomes the first of its two guardians to accept that continued resistance would destroy what they are trying to save.

Biography

Guardian of the flame lands

Meng Hao encounters the Flamephoenix after crossing from the Ice-Fire Realm's frozen region into lands where even 9-Essences cultivators can burn to ash. She erupts from a volcano as a crimson phoenix, assumes the form of a winged woman, and orders the intruder out. When he refuses, their peak-level collision cracks the world and sends lava through the ground. (Chapter 1495)

Meng Hao's strength and revelation that he sealed Patriarch Icemountain make her cautious enough to ask his purpose. The appearance of a copper mirror shard confirms her suspicion: he seeks the matching shard buried in the realm's necropolis. She and Icemountain later combine forces because the shard is not merely treasure; it separates liquid ice and lava and preserves the world's elemental balance. (Chapters 1495–1497)

Defeat and negotiation

In the combined battle, the Flamephoenix grows to thirty thousand meters, surrounds herself with flaming symbols, and forms an Essence-infused crimson claw. Meng Hao's Devil-Butchering Fist wounds her seriously, although her surrounding fire reignites. She later escapes his Spatial Sealing by substituting a flame giant, showing adaptability even against a stronger opponent. (Chapter 1497)

Meng Hao reaches the shard after a months-long pursuit. Removing it causes the ice to melt and the fires to fade, initiating the world's destruction. Patriarch Icemountain wants to keep fighting, but the Flamephoenix physically blocks him and argues that they cannot recover the shard. She negotiates instead. Meng Hao seals the mixing elements for ten thousand years and promises to return when strong enough to solve the danger permanently. (Chapter 1498)

The temporary seal eventually weakens and the flower-world approaches collapse. After Transcending, Meng Hao returns unnoticed, alters its natural laws, and restores permanent ice, flame, and spiritual energy. The Flamephoenix senses the reversal and is the first to wonder whether he kept his promise, though she cannot prove his presence. (Chapters 1541–1542)

Appearance and personality

Her true combat form is a vast crimson phoenix surrounded by a sea of elemental fire. Her human form is a beautiful woman with two crimson wings who can stand upon and direct that sea.

She is vigilant, proud, and uncompromising while resistance still protects the realm. Unlike Icemountain, she recognizes when the objective has changed from retaining the shard to preventing extinction. Her willingness to negotiate is strategic responsibility, not submission.

Abilities and cultivation

Peak 9-Essences battle power

The Flamephoenix is comparable to, and slightly beyond, ordinary peak 9-Essences cultivation. Her clashes can damage the containing world. Meng Hao defeats her only with power at the same extraordinary scale, establishing that lesser intruders would be destroyed by the environment before reaching her.

Phoenix transformation and elemental fire

She shifts between a winged woman and a phoenix up to thirty thousand meters long. In avian form, movement, mass, and heat become direct weapons. Her fire melts the icy landscape temporarily, but the realm's opposing cold restores it, demonstrating dependence on the world's elemental balance.

Essence claw and flaming symbols

Flaming magical symbols accumulate around her and condense Essence fire into a giant crimson claw. The attack can combine with Icemountain's axe and freezing storm strongly enough to force Meng Hao backward several steps. It still breaks against his Devil-Butchering Fist and leaves her bleeding.

Flame substitute and recovery

When spatial power seals her position, she creates a huge flame giant as a substitute and escapes. After severe injury, surrounding flames roar back to life, implying environmental recovery. The healing is not instantaneous invulnerability: she remains wounded and fears Meng Hao's continued offense.
