Dana

Dana is the Succubus daughter of King Leandro, introduced as a proposed marriage-alliance partner for Wolfe. Her defining interest is arcane theory rather than court display, and she becomes a researcher, library regular, and trusted information coordinator in Forest Grove.

Biography

Alliance proposal and advancement

Leandro proposes Dana as a “subdued and gentle” wife, while Queen Victoria offers the more useful description: Dana is an obsessive magical-theory “nerd” who pesters the King of Magic with esoteric questions. Dana has already heard the proposal and finishes her book chapter before answering Wolfe, agreeing on her own terms for private household life. Her participation therefore begins as informed curiosity rather than a silent transfer between rulers. (Chapter 657)

Dana approaches intimacy with Wolfe as both Succubus cultivation and research, using a recording device and narrating the mana effects until the experience overwhelms her concentration. The exchange draws a large amount from Wolfe and directly advances her from Rank Four to Rank Five. At breakfast she is already back to reading and refuses to discuss the details with her father, treating a major breakthrough as private data rather than a public romantic triumph. Research and Forest Grove household

When the group faces a magical military threat, Dana identifies the attackers' pact-like power and searches the palace library for a solution. At Wolfe's request, she finds Create Complex Item and follows his effort to reproduce a human weapon, showing that her value lies in theory, retrieval, and interpretation rather than claiming the spell as her own invention. She later moves into Forest Grove's extended household and becomes known as an accomplished researcher who can find answers when practical workers need them. (Chapters 669–671 and 685–690)

Dana develops close, sometimes argumentative domestic ties with Rail, Carmine, and Nimue. She uses recording magic during household explanations, helps interpret Demon institutions, and provides background on corporate corruption when Rail's former roommate appears. Her playful physical affection never displaces the administrative side of her character; the same Princess who steals sleeping space also remembers legal, political, and magical context. Legal and information work

When Morgana needs help, Dana travels with Rail and Stephanie, explicitly pairing her theoretical knowledge with Rail's practical experience in Demon law. She is introduced to Reiko as Princess of the Incubi Kingdom and stays as part of Forest Grove's legal and diplomatic support. Later narration identifies her as a regular member of the library staff, confirming that her scholarly interest has become sustained community work rather than a short royal visit. (Chapters 818–821 and 1056)

Near the endpoint, Dana and Rail are considered for trusted assistant work. Dana accepts on the condition that Rail help prioritize projects, candidly acknowledging that she has theory while Rail has operational experience. She begins sorting messages and urgent spell requests. Wolfe offers future help toward Overlord, but no completed Rank Six or Rank Seven advancement is shown, so her audited endpoint remains Rank Five. (Chapters 1134–1136)

Appearance and personality

Dana has Succubus wings, a heart-tipped tail, and eyes that appear deep purple before glowing bright pink under a strong mana influx. She resembles her mother and sometimes wears decorative glasses that do not correct a medical need. By Chapter 1085 she is eighteen. She dresses in layers in public but prefers little or no clothing in private. Curious, bookish, physically affectionate, and sharp-tongued, she treats even intimate experience as a research opportunity. (Chapters 657–660, 690, and 1085)

Dana must not be conflated with Tammi, a smaller Succubus who served as her carefully selected body double and retained a near-identical appearance after changing her own size. Tammi's escape and abilities are not Dana's scenes. (Chapters 783–784)

Magic, skills, and limitations

Succubus magic

Dana uses flight, pheromonal and emotional influence, and a small lineage-bound set of mind-related Unholy spells. Pleasure and close mana exchange support Succubus cultivation. Her lineage limits spell variety despite rank, and Succubi cannot use Wolfe's Pentacle balancing as an advancement route, so Dana must progress through other methods. (Chapters 659–660 and 663)

Arcane research

She searches magical libraries, identifies relevant theoretical models, finds spells for others, runs recordings, and connects esoteric magic to practical problems. Locating Create Complex Item does not establish that she personally masters Earth Magic, and recording equipment or spells do not make her an all-purpose artificer. (Chapters 657, 659, 669–671, 685–690, and 1056)

Administration and limits

Dana understands Demon politics, legal theory, and information work well enough to support negotiations and begin handling Noxus correspondence. She openly relies on Rail for prioritization and practical procedure. Wolfe's offer to help her reach Overlord remains a future proposal; neither Rank Six nor Rank Seven is attained on page before the corpus ends. (Chapters 708–709, 818–821, and 1134–1136)
