Su Ye-Eun

Su Ye-Eun is a Korean ability user, First Dungeon explorer, and assassin in Revival. Her exceptional stealth initially conceals both her presence and a violent combat instinct that has alienated her from other people. Trust in Kang Shin helps her accept that strength, after which instruction from Duca Eilie, rapid dungeon growth, and the true names of Kali and Durga make her one of Revival's most dangerous close-range fighters. (Chapters 22–23, 83–86, 134, 228, 316, 319–320, and 344)

Biography

Awakening and the First Dungeon

Ye-Eun meets Shin at their university's opening ceremony when he becomes the first person to notice her through stealth. She follows him because she suspects that he is also an ability user, misses the freshman party during the argument, and admits that she has no money for food. Beneath the awkward pursuit is social isolation: when they later share a class, she says she has no friends to talk to, and Shin reluctantly becomes her first college friend. (Chapters 22 and 25–26)

The appearance of a giant pigeon exposes a contradiction in her ability. Her stealth works until she releases it or attacks and is highly suited to survival, but she freezes, trembles, and cannot fight despite being awakened. Shin kills the monster and reveals that he is a dungeon explorer, giving Ye-Eun both a protector she can trust and a secret that binds them more closely. At this stage neither understands that her terror concerns her own behavior in combat more than monsters themselves. (Chapters 22–23, 34, and 43)

Field Dungeons and Revival

During a university retreat engineered by a Blood Succubus, Ye-Eun resists the monster's charm longer than Shin and tears out its eyes while using stealth. She attacks barehanded with mana around her nails, moving rapidly enough to pressure a B-rank raid boss, but her low defense leaves her wounded. When the battle ends, the sight of blood makes her beg Shin not to fear her. He instead calls her courageous and thanks her for saving him, directly challenging the rejection that had taught her to treat her own lethality as monstrous. (Chapters 78 and 83)

That acceptance allows Ye-Eun to stop mistaking shame for monsterphobia and become a First Dungeon explorer. Her friendship with Shin grows into romantic attachment, while Kang Yua asks her to protect him and Ye-Eun begins operating with the companions who become Revival. On the Antelope Canyon mission, she enters melee with twin daggers against the Flame Drake and calls Duca through Deific Manifestation; the heroic spirit strips scales from its neck and helps create the opening for Revival's coordinated victory. Ye-Eun thus turns the side of herself she feared into an accepted combat role. (Chapters 58, 83, 86, 100, 103, 127, 133–134, and 137)

Guardians and World Enemies

Ye-Eun joins Revival's Philippine campaign as an established high-level fighter rather than Shin's frightened classmate. The hostile environment around Bulusan Volcano taxes her heat resistance, but she persists until the Lava King appears and manifests Duca for the decisive battle. Duca's evasion, speed, and ability to wound the dragon reveal the model behind Ye-Eun's assassin development; their bond also gives Ye-Eun a special breathing method that can break mental interference and, later, techniques for controlling her shadow. (Chapters 224, 228, and 232)

Her responsibilities continue to widen beyond isolated kills. In the later world-enemy conflicts, allies judge her strong enough to stall the Beast King, and she works with Laki to finish aerial monsters after the Death King's assault. She also survives Agni's Seven Tongues because the divine flames distinguish allies from enemies and heal her wounds, demonstrating that Revival's powers can be combined around team survival rather than individual offense. These deployments establish Ye-Eun as a dependable part of the guild's world-scale defense even when Shin fights elsewhere. (Chapters 254, 261, 284, 290, and 296)

Final Wave and the Dungeon's End

Before the final land transmissions, Ye-Eun asks to keep following Shin even after Earth's immediate crisis ends. He warns that she is only twenty-two and initially still calls her a friend, but she refuses to treat risk or an uncertain answer as reasons to abandon her choice. Their conversation produces both relational and martial progress: Shin agrees to see where their bond leads and begins teaching her aura compression, while Duca's shadow control gives that training an assassin-specific direction. Ye-Eun chooses the mission knowingly rather than remaining in Revival only through passive dependence. (Chapters 313–317)

During the next battle, Ye-Eun moves through shadows quickly enough to behead demon riders and awakens the powers of Kali and Durga against an Army Commander. Kali's dark-blue form supplies ferocious multi-armed offense but intensifies her bloodlust; Durga's golden form restores composure, heals her wounds, and changes the aura arms' weapons. By the Demon Lord battle she can transfer Kali's power into Durga's weapons, using both without surrendering control, and clears multiplying clones even where ordinary dungeon support is suppressed. Alive after the final wave, she prepares to marry Shin and invites the parents who had treated her as a monster since her awakening, though reconciliation remains uncertain. (Chapters 319–320, 343–346, and 352)

Appearance and personality

Ye-Eun is a notably beautiful young woman with round, large eyes, a sharp aquiline nose, full pink lips, and black hair. She habitually hides beneath a gray hoodie, a choice that works with her disappearing presence and her desire to avoid attention. When she fights the Blood Succubus, she removes the hood and reveals red-glowing eyes; Kali later changes her aura and skin to dark blue, while Durga surrounds her with gold. While preparing for the wedding, she wears a pure white dress and shows an unusually bright smile. (Chapters 22, 25, 39, 81, 83, 319–320, and 352)

Outside combat, Ye-Eun is shy, socially awkward, food-motivated, and prone to clinging to people she trusts. She struggles with strangers and can miss obvious information, but those comic traits do not erase her tenacity or perceptiveness about Shin. In battle she becomes excited, direct, and frighteningly efficient, a contrast that once made her ashamed and estranged her from her parents. Her development is not the removal of that aggression; it is learning to aim it deliberately, protect allies, and retain her own judgment while wielding powers that can amplify bloodlust. (Chapters 22–26, 58, 83, 153, 316, 320, 344–346, and 352)

Powers and abilities

Innate stealth

Ye-Eun's awakened ability hides her presence so thoroughly that most people fail to notice physical contact with her. In its early form, discovery is unlikely until she willingly releases the effect or attacks; it also conceals the scale of her combat power. She later uses stealth dynamically, disappearing and reappearing between close-range strikes. The ability is not absolute: Shin perceives her at their first meeting, and the blinded Blood Succubus can still detect and target her intermittently. Attacking creates openings, so stealth supports assassination rather than making her permanently untouchable. (Chapters 22, 39, 43, and 83)

Assassin training, daggers, and shadow control

After entering the First Dungeon, Ye-Eun develops as an assassin who favors a dagger in each hand, explosive speed, vital-point attacks, and sudden changes of position. Duca teaches her a breathing method that cancels mental interference and later a way to control her shadow. By the final wave, Ye-Eun can move through shadows across ice footholds, decapitate powerful demons before their formation reacts, and use compressed aura to make each short-ranged strike more lethal. Her defenses are comparatively weaker, making surprise, evasion, and immediate kills central to the style. (Chapters 83, 133–134, 153, 228, 316, and 319)

Deific Manifestation and Duca Eilie

Ye-Eun acquires Deific Manifestation from the magic book awarded for her first solo Orc Lord clear, then encounters Duca through the skill while climbing the early dungeon floors. She can yield her body to the deceased assassin, who has greater experience and a more openly battle-hungry temperament. Duca handles Ye-Eun's daggers with black aura, attacks gaps in an enemy's guard, evades large-area fire, and can damage targets as durable as the Flame Drake and Lava King. The manifestation is powerful but temporary and tied to a separate consciousness; it does not mean every feat Duca performs is already Ye-Eun's own. By the final arcs, Ye-Eun's independent shadow movement and aura training show her absorbing Duca's instruction rather than relying exclusively on possession. (Chapters 88, 104, 134, 153, 228, 313, and 316)

Kali and Durga

Ye-Eun possesses the true names of Kali and Durga, although the corpus does not narrate how she obtains them before their powers first emerge. Kali manifests dark-blue divine power and three additional pairs of aura arms, enabling four pairs of hands to wield chains, a mace, greatsword, trident, shield, staff, and Ye-Eun's daggers in a relentless assault. It also heightens bloodlust and can impair her restraint. Durga replaces the dark power with a golden aura, heals accumulated wounds, restores clear judgment, and reshapes the extra weapons into golden divine armaments. Later Ye-Eun channels Kali's divine force through Durga's weapons, combining greater destructive power with controlled action. The forms still tax her body, particularly where dungeon support is denied. (Chapters 319–320 and 344–346)

Mental resistance and combat limits

Ye-Eun resists the Blood Succubus's charm longer than Shin even before becoming an explorer, and Duca's breathing method later helps her cancel another charm effect. Her strongest early limitation is psychological: other people's fear of her post-awakening cruelty causes her to freeze around monsters and suppress her own ability. Acceptance and experience reduce that block, but do not remove practical weaknesses. Her close-range attacks expose her when stealth ends, her defense is lower than her offense, extreme heat taxes her endurance, and Kali's temperament can destabilize her priorities. (Chapters 23, 83, 153, 228, and 346)

Relationships

  • Kang Shin: Shin is Ye-Eun's first college friend, the person whose acceptance helps her confront her fear of herself, and the center of her decision to join and remain in Revival. Their bond shifts from one-sided pursuit and reliance to frank negotiation, shared mana training, mutual battlefield trust, and a planned marriage after the final wave. (Chapters 22–26, 83–86, 100–103, 316, 344–346, and 352)
  • Kang Yua: Yua quickly recognizes Ye-Eun's interest in Shin and asks her to protect him “as a friend.” Their relationship includes rivalry for his attention, but they repeatedly deploy together in Revival and support one another during the final land transmissions. (Chapters 58, 313, 316, and 319–320)
  • Duca Eilie: Duca is Ye-Eun's manifested master and the source of her specialized breathing and shadow-control training. Duca's mature confidence and appetite for battle foreshadow traits Ye-Eun later integrates into her own assassin style without wholly adopting her master's personality. (Chapters 134, 153, 228, and 316)
  • Hwaya Eleni Mastiford: Hwaya becomes Ye-Eun's senior teammate in Revival and a romantic rival who nevertheless fights beside her across Field Dungeons, Guardian operations, and the Demon Lord campaign. Their cooperation consistently takes priority over competition when Shin or Earth is threatened. (Chapters 58, 127–137, 222–232, and 343–346)
  • Daisy Ectradion: Daisy and Ye-Eun train and fight within the same late-stage teams, while their manifested masters know and antagonize one another. Ye-Eun helps protect Daisy on the Alaska operation and later fights with her during the final campaign. (Chapters 228, 313–320, and 343–344)

Items

  • Twin daggers: Ye-Eun's standard weapons as an assassin. She channels black or compressed aura through them, uses them for rapid vital-point attacks, and retains them alongside the additional weapons created by Kali or Durga. The corpus does not provide a stable personal name or enough specifications to treat them as a separately cataloged artifact. (Chapters 133–134, 316, 319–320, 322, and 344)
