Manyo Neko

Manyo Neko, personally known as Rika, is a senior Japanese Magical Girl whose catlike contract, umbrella, and battlefield leadership make her one of Japan's most recognizable allied combatants. Her first major operation forces her to confront the corpse and voice of a childhood friend inside Inunaki Tunnel. Biography

Inunaki Tunnel and coalition leadership

Rika leads a joint Korea–Japan team into Inunaki Tunnel, where the anomaly weaponizes memory and grief. The corpse and voice of her childhood friend Yō tempt her away from the operation, forcing the proud Magical Girl to confront an intimate loss rather than a simple monster. She survives with the team and emerges as a leader capable of carrying personal grief without abandoning responsibility for the living members under her command. (Chapters 103–106)

After the tunnel, Manyo Neko supports repatriation and becomes a central figure in the Japanese faction most willing to cooperate with Undertaker. She leads reinforcements, advises alliance planning, participates in Status Window and celestial-power operations, and fights through later ambushes and mass battles. Her authority rests on both combat standing and political judgment: she can tease allies or flare into anger while still treating decentralized cooperation as essential to survival. Appearance and personality

Manyo Neko is a golden-haired Magical Girl with cat ears, a tail, boots, and a sacred umbrella. Her contract compels catlike particles at the ends of her speech, making the title “Eternal Cat” visible in both body and voice. She is expressive, proud, affectionate, politically thoughtful, and quick-tempered when friends are threatened. Abilities and skills

Her Magical Girl contract is associated with a cat god or true celestial being. She channels Aura in combat, and her umbrella emits blue light and casts a galaxy-like shadow. Manyo Neko ranks among Japan's strongest Magical Girls and can manipulate or lend celestial power during operations involving the Status Window.
