Great Priestess

Great Priestess is the shrine-maiden leader who coordinates Japan's decentralized Magical Girl Association. Contracted with a Nine-Tailed Fox, she evaluates new candidates, presides over transformations, and assigns operational roles and abilities within the organization. Her polite old-fashioned manner masks suspicion, wit, and a practical preference for distributing authority rather than concentrating every Magical Girl under a single command. Biography

Organizer, witness, and coalition leader

The Great Priestess evaluates Oh Dok-seo, explains the rules governing Magical Girl transformation, and establishes a Korean branch that can operate within the broader Japanese network. She does not merely recruit combatants: her role includes matching girls to functions and presiding over spirit contracts. The arrangement reflects her organizational philosophy, in which local groups retain initiative while shared ritual and expertise keep them connected. (Chapters 151 and 153)

Over drinks with Undertaker, she recounts the Kyoto tutorial, prophet Y, and the explosive deaths that shaped her caution. Later, she classifies battlefield roles, argues for decentralized coordination, and leads association members into major coalition operations. The fox-eared, nine-tailed leader seen in these campaigns had not yet gained that contract during the Kyoto disaster, but no exact acquisition scene or formal rank sequence is established. Appearance and personality

The Great Priestess presents as a Japanese shrine maiden and Magical Girl carrying a folding fan. Her later contract gives her fox ears and nine tails, making the Nine-Tailed Fox relationship physically visible. She is polite, old-fashioned, suspicious of easy claims, and authoritative during formal evaluations. When relaxed with trusted allies, she becomes witty and conversational without losing the procedural instincts of an association chairperson. (Chapters 151, 153, 222–223, and 310)

Abilities and skills

Her defining supernatural bond is a Magical Girl contract with a Nine-Tailed Fox. She presides over new contracts, assigns roles and abilities to other Magical Girls, and applies extensive spirit knowledge to coalition planning. Her personal offensive techniques are not detailed as clearly as her ritual and leadership functions. The fox traits are present by her introduction but absent from her earlier Kyoto testimony, so the contract marks a changed state without supplying a fully dated progression.
