Terrance Tilden is the Sydney Network’s media director and Anna Tilden’s brother.
Biography
Controlling a story without controlling the crisis
Terrance enters the Broken Hill emergency responsible for shaping how a magical disaster reaches the public. He is talented at publicity but abrasive under pressure, and Anna sharply disciplines him after he directs an abusive remark at Aram. The rebuke forces a distinction Terrance often blurs: urgency may justify hard choices in messaging, but it does not excuse treating colleagues as expendable targets for frustration. He then builds coverage around visible evidence of Jason rescuing civilians, contrasting that conduct with EOA failures while holding back accusations the Network cannot yet prove. The strategy protects public trust and Jason’s cooperation without committing the branch to claims that may collapse later. Terrance’s work shows the consequence of media control in a magical crisis: a careful narrative can buy operational room, while a reckless one can create enemies no combat team can contain. Skills and abilities
Terrance specialises in public relations, crisis communications, media timing, message discipline, and coordinating visual evidence with operational goals. He is not presented as a front-line fighter.
