Michael Aram is an Australian Network investigator whose evidence helps identify Jason Asano after his return to Earth.

Biography

Evidence from the field

Aram responds to the hospital crisis and records Jason’s rooftop fight, preserving evidence that prevents a French operative from controlling the story of what occurred. His observations give Anna’s branch something more reliable than institutional claims and help establish that the unknown combatant operates beyond Earth’s normal magical framework. He continues into containment and investigative work rather than treating survival as grounds to withdraw. (Chapters 266–277, 304, 317–318)

As events escalate, Aram becomes part of the Sydney operations structure and later works alongside Terrance during the Broken Hill response. He tolerates high pressure but not without personal cost, and Anna defends him when Terrance turns that stress into abuse. Aram’s consequence is quieter than battlefield glory: credible field work lets administrators make decisions before misinformation hardens into policy. (Chapters 340–357, 383–384, 943, 956)

Aram is an experienced investigator with field recording, surveillance, security, evidence assessment, and crisis-response skills. His large build and magical training support dangerous assignments, but his principal value is capturing and preserving facts under chaotic conditions rather than overpowering high-rank opponents.
