Death Wand

The Death Wand is an exceptional unique set weapon once used by the King of Death. Randalph Brigsiel purchases it for its compatibility with the Book of Command Spells, then gives both items to Chrisley. It becomes her enduring magical focus, grants additional magic power and undead creation, and is still responding to her will in Chapter 211.

History

Auction prize and planned transfer

Randalph buys the Death Wand during the first Demon World Auction as part of a larger package. Its exceptional unique rating and necromantic purpose make it valuable enough that another demon attacks him and demands that he surrender it, but Randalph wins the confrontation and retains the purchase. He specifically intends the wand for Chrisley because its Death Apostle association complements the Command Magician profession available through the Book of Command Spells. After the auction goods arrive through a dimensional crack, he stores the wand temporarily and later gives it and the book to Chrisley as a new weapon and route to further power. (Chapters 27–37)

Chrisley's necromantic focus

Once equipped by Chrisley, the wand contributes four points of magic power and appears in her equipment record across successive stages of her growth. She carries it when leading the dungeon's creatures against invading angels, using it as the visible focus of her authority and preparation even when no individual spell is attributed to the wand. Randalph later purchases the Death Robe because it belongs to the same set and is expected to improve Chrisley's undead manufacturing, although the cited evidence never states the completed set's exact bonus or confirms a transformation of the wand itself. The wand also participates in stronger necromantic displays after Chrisley receives Ganak the King of Death's essence. When she swallows that temporary power, raises the wand, and breaks the essence's seal, hundreds of shades appear, skeleton soldiers rise from the ground, and a large crow forms on the weapon. Because the essence is explicitly providing the King of Death's strength for a limited time, the scene does not establish that the base wand can reproduce the entire display unaided. (Chapter 127)

Later covert and battlefield use

At a later auction, Chrisley waits with a giant crow and applies the wand to Pandemonium's captured dark-spirit guide; the guide becomes spellbound and supplies information about Ariel Diablo's representative. The narration connects this act to Ganak's power, but it does not isolate whether the compelling effect comes from the wand, Chrisley's eyes, her King of Death power, or their combination. In the latest cited scene, the wand fluctuates in response to Chrisley's will as she prepares to oppose Earl Rakikan and the controlled Gustarte, confirming that it remains intact, responsive, and in her hands. Abilities and properties

• Magic-power increase: The equipped wand adds four magic power. Later status records continue to list the same bonus without indicating further numerical growth. (Chapters 27–32, 45–47, 72–76, and 151)
• Undead Creation: Its item description makes the unique-grade Undead Creation skill available. Later narration calls the related discipline Undead Manufacturing; the evidence supports necromantic creation but does not give the wand's material cost, casting time, or autonomous production limit. (Chapters 27–32 and 90–93)
• Bound set item: The wand is labeled both bound and part of a set. It is successfully transferred to Chrisley before becoming her regular equipment, but the cited passages do not explain when binding occurs, whether it can be reversed, or the exact effect gained from pairing it with the Death Robe. (Chapters 27–37 and 90–93)
• Synergy with command magic: Randalph identifies a strong compatibility between the wand's Death Apostle path and the Book of Command Spells' Command Magician path. This is the reason he gives both to Chrisley, though no numerical synergy bonus is displayed. (Chapters 27–37)
• Conduit for King of Death power: Chrisley channels Ganak-related necromancy through the wand, including shades, skeletons, a giant crow, and a later coercive interrogation. The largest summoning occurs only after consuming an essence that lends Ganak's strength temporarily, so it should not be treated as an unconditional base property of the wand.
