Book of Command Spells

The Book of Command Spells is a unique-grade, mana-bearing diary that can pass on the Command Magician occupation. Randalph Brigsiel takes it from the dead Kim In-pil after recognizing properties hidden from ordinary appraisal, then gives it to Chrisley together with the Death Wand. The corpus does not establish whether learning from it consumes the physical book or where it is kept afterward.

History

The diary left by Kim In-pil

The item initially appears to be Kim In-pil's old-fashioned diary and gives off the scent of mana. After Kim In-pil dies, Randalph uses Mind's Eye and discovers that the diary is actually the unique-grade Book of Command Spells. He considers it far beyond the items normally obtainable by the human Heroes at that stage and notes that an observer without his appraisal ability would likely dismiss it as worthless miscellaneous loot. Because its former possessor can no longer retain it, Randalph takes custody rather than leaving the disguised treasure behind. (Chapters 17–20)

Transfer to Chrisley

After buying the Death Wand, Randalph identifies a useful interaction between its Death Apostle association and the book's Command Magician profession. He plans both for Chrisley, whose intelligence and potential make her his candidate for an exceptional necromancer and eventual dungeon proxy. Randalph later presents the book and wand together, describing them as a new occupation, skill, and weapon. Chrisley accepts and promises to learn them once recovered, then carefully puts both items down during the following ceremony. No later cited passage identifies the book's location, confirms that it was consumed, or records a further transfer, so Chrisley is the last known recipient rather than a confirmed permanent physical holder. Abilities and properties
