The Bloodline Extraction Instrument is lost Arcana technology that extracted Beast Race bloodlines for human use. Its operation created inheritable bloodline clans and laid the foundation for humanity’s bloodline cultivation system, but the sole known instrument was destroyed or lost during the fall of the Radiant Divine Dynasty.

History

Arcana invention

The instrument is one of the world-changing creations attributed to Arcana Masters with Origin Blood. During the Arcana Kingdom’s most innovative period, its researchers developed deep expertise in modifying organisms and controlling Origin Energy. The final revelation further states that the Human Ancestor secretly inspired the Arcanists toward the invention because he wanted humanity to grow stronger. (Chapters 354, 424, and 1156)

Human acquisition and bloodline society

After the Arcana Kingdom falls, the five major races divide its greatest treasures and humanity receives the Bloodline Extraction Instrument. By extracting the innate bloodlines through which beasts control Origin Energy and placing them in humans, it creates bloodlines that can pass to descendants. The Gu Clan is one surviving example: its inherited bloodline can awaken without recurring bloodline medicine. (Chapters 90 and 781)

The instrument operates at a reported rate of about ten bloodlines per year. Across more than twenty thousand years, those extractions produce an enormous and varied bloodline nobility, although clans later disappear, merge, or change. Its social consequence persists far beyond the machine itself, structuring cultivation opportunity and political rank around inherited bloodline quality. (Chapter 136)

Loss and the research that follows

The instrument is lost in the wars surrounding the Radiant Divine Dynasty, and humanity cannot reconstruct it. Blood Spirit Medicines imitate only part of its function: their mixed bloodlines are weaker, limit potential, and generally cannot be inherited. Su Chen questions this historical inconsistency early and later confirms through Arcana history that humanity inherited rather than invented the original technology. (Chapters 108 and 781)

Su Chen, Shi Kaihuang, and Patelocke study bloodlines and Arcana principles in the world shaped by the lost instrument. Their research develops alternatives to dependence on inherited beast bloodlines, but the corpus does not state that they rebuild the original device. (Chapters 354, 424, and 781)

Abilities and properties
