The Flat Sky City mission

Purple Forest Stream was responsible for deciding when the Harpies should cooperate or clash with neighboring Liaoye Country. Ordered to recover an undisclosed asset from Flat Sky City, he objected that excessive concessions would expose the mission's importance. He nevertheless devised a cover: the envoy would ostensibly negotiate for Harpy prisoners while secretly searching for the asset connected to the Rong Clan's betrayal. (Chapter 787)

As head of the mission, Purple Forest Stream prolonged negotiations with the Zhu Clan while the Harpies searched unsuccessfully. Once a dying prisoner pointed him toward Jade Brilliance and the secret of the broodmother, he accepted costly commercial concessions and a prisoner exchange to secure the needed lead. He then accompanied the recovered broodmother toward Sky City, negotiating alongside Scattered Moon Mist when Hunting Wind Bandits intercepted the convoy. (Chapters 792–819)

Appearance and personality

The corpus identifies Purple Forest Stream as male and as a Harpy, but gives no stable description of his face, clothing, age, or build. His Harpy identity implies wings, though their color and shape are not specified. (Chapters 787–819)
