Lulu

Lulu, usually called Dream Spirit Lulu, is the guide assigned to Su Chen when he first enters the Dreamrealm. She teaches him how the network works, later becomes his personal Dream Spirit, and handles information, commissions, privileges, and appearance changes on his behalf. Her cheerful commercialism makes her an approachable face of a system whose divine purpose is revealed much later.

Biography

A newcomer’s guide

Lulu greets Su Chen as a tiny maiden between blue butterfly wings and leads him toward the Dreamcastle. She teaches him the Dreamrealm’s first rule—that intention shapes movement and experience there—then explains its halls for information, knowledge, missions, and paid answers. When Su Chen immediately earns hundreds of Dream Droplets by solving technical questions, she revises her initial view of him as an ordinary newcomer. (Chapters 191–192)

Her role soon expands beyond orientation. Lulu explains the privilege hierarchy after a Dream Monarch suppresses Su Chen’s publication of Kaihuang’s Heaven and tries to persuade him to buy a higher tier. Her enthusiasm partly reflects the castle’s revenue needs: she awkwardly admits that withdrawing the publication would stop the suppressor from spending Dream Droplets. Meng Lan, the Castle Lady, later confirms that she sent Lulu to encourage the upgrade while also supporting wider distribution of the technique. (Chapters 207 and 211–212)

Personal Dream Spirit

As Su Chen answers commissioned questions and publishes techniques, Lulu delivers the work, applies privilege changes, and relays Meng Lan’s plans for reviews and sales. After he becomes a Dream Officer and gains the right to select a dedicated attendant, he chooses Lulu. She remains devoted to that assignment even when his infrequent visits reduce her income, complaining theatrically that she must guide common users to survive but refusing to switch clients while he is alive. (Chapters 229–230, 258, and 461)

Lulu also watches for information relevant to her assigned user. She preserves a letter from Shi Kaihuang under his instruction and delivers it only after his expedition has been missing for three months. She explains that communications in foreign territory are restricted and warns that even a summoned Dream Spirit cannot serve as an unrestricted link to the outside world. Her last direct appearance comes after Su Chen enters the Ravagers’ Dreamrealm: for a large fee and privilege upgrade, she changes his projected appearance into that of a Ravager and immediately transports him away from pursuers. The corpus later records a human ban on the Dreamrealm, the killing of Dream Spirits, and the eventual destruction of Dream God. Lulu is not named in those later scenes, so none of them establishes her individual death or survival. (Chapters 1103–1106 and 1152–1157)

Appearance and personality

Lulu resembles a very small young maiden framed by large blue butterfly wings. She has short blue hair, pointed ears, large eyes, a small mouth, bare feet in short sandals, and a tight light-blue dress. A flower hoop is woven around the middle finger of her right hand. She flies rather than walks and frequently circles, twirls, or stamps in midair. (Chapter 191)

She is lively, cute, proud of the Dreamrealm, and openly interested in profit. Her hands-on-hips lectures, teasing sales pitches, and exaggerated complaints give her a mischievous personality, but she is also dependable within her assigned rules. She keeps Shi’s letter until its release condition is met, collects relevant information for Su Chen, and remains his personal guide even when the arrangement is financially disappointing. Abilities and cultivation

Dreamrealm guidance and administration

Lulu navigates the Dreamcastle, explains its systems, presents commissions and light screens, transfers submitted knowledge for review, and applies account or privilege changes. As Su Chen’s personal Dream Spirit, she can collect information likely to concern him, retain messages, and trigger reminders or emergency transmission under the Dreamrealm’s rules. These powers operate inside the network and do not establish physical-world combat ability. (Chapters 191–192, 229–230, and 599)

Her authority has administrative limits. She cannot override foreign-territory communication restrictions, guarantee access to confidential information, or leave a foreign Dreamrealm as a free messenger. Higher privilege can purchase broader options, but requests can still be denied. (Chapters 207, 229, and 599)

Projection changes and transport

Lulu can administer paid changes to a user’s Dreamrealm appearance and relocate the user within the dream domain. In Ravager territory she rapidly converts Su Chen’s human projection into a Ravager and pulls him away by the hand. The change consumes an enormous number of Dream Droplets unless supported by higher privilege, affects only the Dreamrealm projection, and does not disguise his physical body in the Origin Realm. Dream Spirit nature

Dream Spirits are described as fruits of the Dreamrealm’s source of life. Their death returns consciousness to that source so it can bloom and grow again, which explains Lulu’s casual attitude toward mortality. Later revelations connect those fruits to Dream God’s original tree-form. The corpus does not state whether Lulu retains memories after such recycling, can live outside the Dreamrealm, or possesses an independent cultivation progression. (Chapter 461; Chapters 1152–1155)
