Lin Xiao

Lin Xiao is one of Su Chen's Twelve Sword Servants who develops into an early Spirit Burning Realm pillar of the Boundless Sect. He serves as scout, strike-team member, sea-hunting captain, and battlefield commander across the sect's expansion. (Chapters 756–1020)

Biography

From Sword Servant to commander

Lin Xiao first appears among the Sword Servants escorting Su Chen and asking for the route to the Zhu Clan. He and Li Xi later search a castle's hidden passages, and during the Boundless Sect's Harpy campaign he joins a small squad facing three Sixth-Ring Arcana Masters without losing confidence. These assignments place him in the mobile groups used for reconnaissance and dangerous close operations rather than confining him to household service. (Chapters 756–824)

By the campaign at sea, Lin Xiao has reached Spirit Burning and commands a five-boat hunting group capable of challenging Demonic Emperors. His desire for stronger prey reflects both the fleet's confidence and its dangerous appetite. When a mass of Sea Beasts gathers beneath the flotilla, he detects the threat through his Divine Palace and immediately orders retreat. His group survives the engineered disaster with outside help, and he resumes command under stronger surveillance instead of abandoning the mission. He later helps supervise the sealing operation against a void Sovereign, objects to leniency for defectors, leads a thousand-person battalion against the Astrals, and reports their withdrawal at the Sky Magnet Mountains. Appearance and personality

The corpus provides no stable description of Lin Xiao's face, build, clothing, or age. It does show him standing at the prow in high spirits, dismissing prey that seems too weak, and responding confidently to dangerous opponents. His loyalty is equally pronounced: he rebukes criticism of Su Chen's cultivation system and later argues that forgiving traitors too easily would weaken the Boundless Sect's standing. That confidence can shade into risk-taking, but he responds to the sea ambush with a prompt retreat order rather than sacrificing his command to pride. (Chapters 822, 949–952, and 994)

Abilities and cultivation

Lin Xiao advances from an unspecified early realm to Spirit Burning Realm. The narration credits good talent, long service, sect resources, rapid Lotus Platform formation, and a successful breakthrough, making him one of the Boundless Sect's earliest Spirit Burning cultivators. His Divine Palace can revolve and spread consciousness far enough to sense large groups of Sea Beasts below a ship, though the precise depth, range, and interference limits are not quantified. Most later feats are command applications rather than isolated personal techniques. He coordinates five boats, Origin Energy cannons, and capture equipment against Sea Beasts; leads a thousand-person battalion; and orders a hundred cultivators to combine frost into a long-range wave that extinguishes fireballs from several thousand Astrals. The frost attack is explicitly collective, so it does not establish a unique ice skill for Lin Xiao.
