Lian Jiao

Lian Jiao is a young miss of Clear River's Lian Clan who joins an attempt to capture Su Chen. Su Chen instead takes her prisoner and uses her in dangerous research before returning her under a peace agreement. She later survives the destruction of the Lian Clan's resisting faction.

Biography

Ambush and captivity

Lian Jiao joined Long Shaoyou's street ambush with the intention of taking Su Chen and using the Lian Clan's living-slave technique on him. When Su Chen filled the street with concealing fog and turned the attackers against one another, she ordered a retreat but was captured with Long Shaoyou. He confined her in his laboratory, tested foreign reproductive material on her, and erased her memories of the captivity before releasing her. (Chapters 356–358 and 370)

Chief Steward Lao retrieved Lian Jiao under a peace agreement and stopped her from immediately threatening Su Chen again. Much later, when Su Chen destroyed the clan members who chose to attack him, he explicitly confirmed that Lian Jiao and several brothers had survived. He left her subsequent disposition to Iron Cliff, but the corpus does not record what happened next. (Chapters 370, 373, and 498)

Appearance and personality

Lian Jiao is a woman who wears red and carries a rope whip at her introduction. The corpus does not provide a stable description of her face, age, height, build, or hair. During Su Chen's experiment, the catalyzed process temporarily weakens her blood Qi and makes her appear to age. (Chapters 356–358)

She is proud, forceful, and acutely conscious of her clan's status. She corrects how her name should be understood, threatens Su Chen when captured, and resumes her overbearing attitude after her memories are removed. Fear does not prevent her from cursing her captor, though Chief Steward Lao's warning finally makes her recognize the political danger he presents. (Chapters 356–358 and 370)

Abilities and cultivation

Lian Jiao is an Origin Qi cultivator who can release surging waves of energy and is associated with the Lian Clan's bloodline technique for turning living people into mentally dulled slaves. The exact realm of her cultivation, the name of her bloodline, and whether she personally completes that enslavement technique on-page are not stated. (Chapters 356–357)

She wields a rope whip and can command clan retainers, but her attempted ambush fails once Su Chen's fog removes the group's coordination. The corpus records no later combat progression or independent victory. Her survival during the Lian Clan's collapse results from not joining the final attack rather than from a described battle feat. (Chapters 356 and 498)

Relationships

  • Su Chen: Lian Jiao tries to enslave him, but he captures her, subjects her to experiments, erases her recent memories, and later spares her when destroying the Lian Clan's attackers. (Chapters 356–370 and 498)
  • Chief Steward Lao: Lao negotiates for her release, addresses her as Young Miss, and restrains her from renewing the conflict. (Chapters 359–370)
  • Iron Cliff: Iron Cliff helps guard her during captivity. After the Lian Clan battle, Su Chen lets him decide her future, but no outcome is shown. (Chapters 357 and 498)

Items

The finalized item inventory contains no entries for Lian Jiao. She carries an unnamed rope whip during the attempted ambush, but the corpus does not describe special properties, an Origin Tool grade, or its later disposition. (Chapter 356)
