Frostpoint

Frostpoint is Greatcloud’s twelfth acknowledged Oceanid prince and one of the commanders who guide the Boundless Sect’s campaign against the Deep Sea Sorrow. He represents a race willing to spend its strongest heirs for collective survival and becomes one of Su Chen’s most consistent partners in the Abyss expedition. (Chapters 931–955)

Biography

The Oceanids’ alliance with Su Chen

Frostpoint greets Su Chen as the “Twelfth of the Sea,” one of only two surviving heirs chosen by Greatcloud after eleven older siblings died on dangerous missions. He treats Su Chen’s arrival as a long-awaited chance to free the Oceanids from the Deep Sea Sorrow and helps unite the Oceanids, Boundless Sect, Subdued Sea branch, and Black Flame into a single fleet. As an Oceanid representative on its nine-person command group, he supplies local knowledge, warns against simplistic attempts to bait Sea Beast Sovereigns, and presses the campaign to continue when retreat would preserve the curse. Frostpoint repeatedly prioritizes the alliance over profit. He accepts a ninety-percent share for the Boundless Sect based on its contribution, offers additional Sea Kings when the division is challenged, and worries for exhausted Boundless Sect disciples even though they are not Oceanids. His latest scenes remain part of the continuing campaign: he listens to Su Chen’s bloodline research and is alive after the fleet’s early Abyss operations, but the corpus does not provide a final personal outcome. Appearance and personality

Frostpoint is a golden-haired youth whose hair falls to his shoulders. He carries himself confidently and can arrive borne on a rising mountain of seawater. (Chapter 931)

He is courteous, practical, and intensely committed to Oceanid survival. Unlike allies motivated by spoils, he accepts unequal material rewards because ending the Deep Sea Sorrow is the Oceanids’ real gain. He is also candid with Su Chen, questioning research that seems to drift from the agreed mission while showing respect when Su Chen supplies workable plans. (Chapters 931, 937–941)

Abilities and cultivation

Frostpoint’s power is stated to be equivalent to a human Thought Manifestation Realm cultivator. He travels by controlling waves and raises seawater into a mountain-like platform beneath his party, demonstrating powerful environmental control in his native element. The corpus does not name this technique or isolate his personal attacks during the fleet battles. (Chapter 931)

His other demonstrated strength is command authority. He can commit Oceanid forces, including offering two Sea Kings whose power corresponds to the Ultimate Emperor Realm, and serves on the fleet’s strategic council. That authority comes from his status and mission rather than a shown supernatural ability. His specific cultivation method, costs, limitations away from water, and later progression remain unstated.
