Flaming Femme

Flaming Femme, whose personal name is Vermilion Blush, is a Seventh-Ring Harpy Arcana Master, Fate's Hands terrorist, and covert Mother Goddess Sect agent. Her destructive fire techniques make her a serious threat, but repeated attempts to betray Su Chen end with a parasite destroying her body and Su Chen accidentally shattering the consciousness needed for her resurrection.

Biography

Defeat and coerced service

Flaming Femme arrives with the Chaotic Wind Brothers to seize the Wind-Gathering map, treating the surrounding city and its inhabitants as expendable. Su Chen reverses her vast Raging Flaming Lotus and then survives the precision of Sunstrike and the repeated assault of Nirvana Phoenix. When attrition turns against her and her companions flee, she surrenders, offers a piece of her soul as security, and even proposes killing witnesses to conceal the outcome. Su Chen accepts her service and orders a false report to Fate's Hands, leaving her outwardly in place as an operative while privately bound to him. (Chapters 831–836)

Her apparent allegiance is never sincere. Flaming Femme obtains removal of the consciousness restraint from Li Daohong, passes information about Su Chen to the Mother Goddess Sect, and helps bring Night God Sun into an ambush. Su Chen has anticipated the betrayal and placed a Gluttonous Parasite inside her. The creature consumes her organs and thrives on the fire she uses against it, turning her own specialization into a liability. (Chapters 848–849)

Failed resurrection

With her body lost, Flaming Femme burns herself completely to activate a legendary, once-per-lifetime resurrection method based on a preserved portion of her body at the Mother Goddess Sect. The return would have reduced her strength but allowed survival if her consciousness escaped. Su Chen intercepts that fleeing consciousness with a newly learned technique and accidentally shatters it, preventing the restoration. A later reference to her infiltration and limited antipoison supplies is retrospective, not evidence that she survived. (Chapters 848–849 and 861)

Raging Flaming Lotus and Sunstrike

Raging Flaming Lotus creates an enormous mass of fire capable of devastating a wide area. Its scale makes it dangerous to bystanders, but Su Chen demonstrates a decisive interaction: he takes control of the gathered Origin Energy and turns the technique back on its caster.
