Feng Xihuo

Feng Xihuo is a well-known Immortal Temple assassin summoned by Kong Cheng to kill Su Chen. His explosive bloodline, extreme speed, and numerous escape techniques have allowed him to kill far stronger targets, but Su Chen recognizes his habits and turns the attempted assassination against him.

Biography

The Island Abyss assignment

Kong Cheng contacted Feng Xihuo through the Immortal Temple's long-distance roster and ordered him to Island Abyss. Feng arrived under orders and began tracking Su Chen, whom he knew only by appearance. The Secret Task Force had already documented his identity, habits, bloodline, and preference for abandoning any assassination that failed on the first strike. (Chapters 511, 527–530)

Su Chen recognized Feng by his straw hat and woven grass shoes, then used his disguise as You Tianyang to maneuver both men into the same alley. Feng attacked the wrong target, survived You Tianyang's counterattack, and repeatedly evaded Su Chen's pursuit. After losing an arm, he doubled back behind a wall to conceal his escape, but speaking revealed his position. Su Chen cut through the wall, bisected him, and watched him die. (Chapters 530–531)

Appearance and personality

Feng Xihuo is a short, dark-skinned, middle-aged man with a heavily wrinkled face, protruding ears, and the appearance of a small old man. Because he is poor at disguising himself, he commonly hides his face beneath a wide straw hat and wears distinctive grass-woven shoes. (Chapter 528)

He is confident, cautious about stronger opponents, and deeply reliant on speed and prepared escape routes. Ordinarily he retreats if the first blow fails, but he continues against Su Chen because he believes a Yang Opening Realm target cannot stop him. That confidence becomes a fatal miscalculation, and his clever attempt to double back is exposed when he cannot resist speaking. (Chapters 528–531)

Abilities and cultivation

Feng is a Yang Opening Realm cultivator with the Fierce Explosive Beast bloodline. It allows him to store energy and discharge it in a sudden killing blow powerful enough to threaten or kill Light Shaking Realm cultivators. He is exceptionally fast and can sharply reverse direction in midair, leave a light-fragment decoy, and combine multiple short-cooldown escape techniques. (Chapters 528–531)

His offensive weapon uses the Moon-Shattering Blade strike, while a red defensive light can block a fatal blow once. His strengths depend on surprise, burst power, and disengagement rather than prolonged combat. Su Chen's preparation, layered defenses, consciousness attack, hearing, and teleportation prevent him from converting speed into escape. (Chapter 531)

Relationships

• Kong Cheng: Kong summons Feng and gives him the assassination assignment. Feng identifies himself as Kong's subordinate when he arrives. (Chapters 511 and 527–529)
• Su Chen: Feng hunts Su Chen but is manipulated into fighting You Tianyang first. Su Chen then pursues and kills him. (Chapters 530–531)
• Yue Longsha: Her Secret Task Force knows Feng's appearance, history, bloodline, and habits in detail, though she chooses not to capture him before his attack. (Chapter 528)

Items

The finalized item inventory contains no entries for Feng Xihuo. He carries an unnamed blade used with Moon-Shattering Blade and wears a straw hat and grass shoes that conceal him poorly enough to become identifying habits. The fate of the blade is not recorded after his death. (Chapters 528–531)
