Feng Anya

Feng Anya is an exiled Thought Manifestation expert of Great Wind's imperial Feng Clan. Once a challenger to Emperor Feng Zhuying, he bears a decades-long bloodline seal after losing their contest and seeks Su Chen's help to restore his Violent Raven manifestation.

Biography

Exile and cure

Feng Anya explains that he challenged his nephew Feng Zhuying for the throne, pitting his Violent Raven manifestation against the emperor's Violent Giant. Defeat brought exile and a bloodline seal that prevented him from reforming the raven for sixty years, leaving one hand unnaturally small and unhealed. He offers his assistance if Su can remove it. Su studies the seal and succeeds within three days, allowing Feng Anya to manifest a massive black raven again. (Chapters 788–789)

Bloodline sacrifice

His exuberant transformation makes enough noise to expose what was meant to remain secret. Feeling responsible, Feng Anya tears the wings from his own bloodline manifestation so Su can obtain the physical foundation of a genuine Harpy form. The act damages his body, consciousness, and Origin Energy source, limits his strength, and is expected to require about a decade of recovery. He nevertheless helps Su suppress and absorb Windbite essence and witnesses the first group of bloodline-free Light Shaking breakthroughs. Later chapters mention his techniques and failed coup only by comparison rather than showing him directly. (Chapters 789–791, 820, and 934)

Appearance and personality

Feng Anya is a short, bald old man with an exceptionally long beard. His left arm initially appears normal, but the left hand is tiny and tender like a child's because of the seal, a deformity striking enough that an ordinary Thought Manifestation cultivator should have healed it. (Chapter 788)

He is proud, boisterous, politically ambitious, and capable of costly gratitude. His delight after decades of restriction leads to careless celebration, but he accepts responsibility by sacrificing a central part of his bloodline manifestation. Abilities and cultivation

Feng Anya is a Thought Manifestation Realm cultivator with the Violent Raven bloodline, a form related to Great Wind's Windbite inheritance. Once unsealed, his ordinary body disappears into an enormous physical black raven manifestation. The seal blocks formation of the raven without removing his underlying realm. After it is lifted, tearing away the raven's wings damages multiple foundations and lowers his effective ceiling while he recovers.
