Raj

Raj is Leonel Morales's former left tackle, the protector of his blind side, and one of the friends Leonel comes to regard as brothers. A front-line soldier whose Earth Affinity develops from moving ordinary ground into engineering diamond, crystal, and other high-quality structures, Raj pairs genuine battlefield discipline with relentless jokes and an unusually open loyalty to his chosen family.

Biography

Camelot, Terrain, and Earth's unification

Raj first appears in the vanguard defending Earth's engineers from an Invalid tide. Rather than remaining behind the city defenses, he stamps apart ice sheets, destabilizes the attackers, and opens a safe route for the formation under Milan's command. The stronger ice guards expose the limits of this early ability by freezing the ground too thoroughly for him to move; Raj switches to an assault rifle rather than abandon the defense. (Chapters 401 and 404)

That refusal to leave the engineers exposed has a consequence beyond the battle. Maia removes the established generals who sheltered inside the dome and promotes Raj, Milan, and Joel in their place, turning Raj's old blind-side instincts into responsibility for an army. His battlefield improvisation is thus rewarded with authority that demands the same protection on a much larger scale. (Chapter 465)

Valiant Heart and the Four Great Families

At Royal Blue Fort, Raj grows into one of its most effective generals by treating Leonel's judgment as a practical command model: when uncertain, he asks what “Cap” would do. Reunited with Leonel at Valiant Heart, he is among the teammates who nearly rush to Leonel's defense during the confrontation with Aina Morales and later voices the group's anger over the pain Leonel has endured. That protectiveness is imperfect and abrasive, but it forces Leonel to recognize that he has neglected friends who never stopped seeing themselves as his line. (Chapters 575, 810–822, and 839–840)

Leonel then identifies that Raj has been using only the simplest expression of a much rarer talent. Raj's Earth Affinity is suited not to moving the largest volume of soil but to evolving its structure, especially carbon-based forms. Leonel implants the feel of possible materials through Dream Path guidance, and Raj applies the lesson at sea, where ordinary earth is absent: he carries metal shavings, manipulates them like sand, and hardens them into diamond-bright drill bits. The adaptation turns an environmental weakness into a reason to prepare portable material. (Chapters 841 and 985)

Void Palace and the Rapax conflict

During the ocean campaign, Raj accepts Allan's rapid commands so their abilities can work in concert while Milan and Drake protect them. The scene distinguishes his joking manner from indiscipline: under battlefield pressure he follows the plan without protest. That trust lets specialized abilities function as a single formation instead of competing individual techniques. (Chapter 1004)

When Leonel later has to leave his brothers behind, Raj eases his guilt by pointing out that Roesia and the Luxnix will support them. Choosing reassurance over resentment preserves the friendship even though Leonel knows he has given the group too little of his time. Raj's response shows that loyalty does not require him to make Leonel's impossible choices more painful. (Chapter 1261)

Heir Wars and the wider Dimensional Verse

Raj is among five brothers killed during the Four Great Families' seizure of Earth's territory. Because Simeon preserves their corpses as constructs, fragments of their souls remain; Leonel reconstructs those souls and uses the Silver Tablet and Anastasia's Pure Neutral Qi to restore their bodies. Raj awakens by mistaking the equally revived Milan for a ghost, then immediately turns his humor against the enemy threatening Leonel. The resurrection restores a Seventh-Dimensional soul and clears bottlenecks, but it also establishes a hard limit at the time: the Silver Tablet could not have performed the same feat on an Eighth-Dimensional soul. After returning, Raj resumes campaigning at Leonel's side without treating death as a reason to withdraw. Repeated sessions against the Perfection Stone and long meditation on the Earth Force Mantra let him manipulate Earth Force in a powerful world where it is especially resistant. He ripples and hardens the terrain into fused diamond-and-crystal spikes that tear through an elite formation and create an elevated route for Leonel's squad. God Realm and Dream Pavilion struggles

When Velasco's death leaves Leonel closed off, Raj's absent-minded questions reveal the brothers' worry even as their familiar insults keep the conversation from becoming an intervention Leonel would reject. Later, Raj participates in the group's training and reunion within the Segmented Cube, helping restore a shared life beyond continual campaigning. (Chapters 2212 and 2604)

His renewed relationship with Yuri brings a more personal conflict: he initially hides behind jokes and tries to rush past Zephyr, but when challenged he uses leverage learned from football to throw the other man before openly kissing Yuri. Their reconciliation remains tentative—Yuri later says they are not yet at Leonel and Aina's stage—but it gives Raj a future beyond being only one of Leonel's soldiers. (Chapters 2707–2722)

The final war and a transformed Existence

After years spent tempering themselves in other worlds, Raj and the other brothers reunite with Leonel through the same insulting camaraderie that has long masked affection. Against Flaura, Raj binds her ankles in earth while Chaotic Particle Force gives the restraint planetary weight, allowing the squad's shield, lightning, gun, and close-combat abilities to converge. He later fights back-to-back with Allan against the Void Race and joins eleven companions in facing a tide of Gods when Aina opens the way to the Brazinger treasure. Raj's late battles show precision and control rather than only raw terrain disruption. He rides a diamond platform into the air and hardens the earth around a Sylvan until it constricts the creature's energy flow. In his latest direct scene, he turns diamond into a sparkling lotus for Leah and a durable sword for Leo, winning their affection while their parents prepare for war. The same structural gift that began as a battlefield Ability Index has become fine enough for spontaneous Crafting-like play, and Raj remains alive within Leonel and Aina's extended family. Appearance and personality

Raj is a towering, extremely heavy man with brown skin and a red line down his forehead. His size is repeatedly described through his rolling stomach, cheeks, and chin, yet it coexists with the strength expected of Royal Blue's left tackle and a front-line cultivator. He eventually grows light facial stubble and remains comfortable making his build the center of a joke; when Milan says he has become fatter, Raj claims he feared losing his “peak male physique.” (Chapters 401, 812, 1766, and 2708)

He is the group's most persistent comedian: vulgar exaggeration, mock vanity, football references, and feigned cowardice let him cut through fear or exhaustion. That performance can become insensitive, particularly when defending Leonel against people he blames for hurting him. Beneath it, Raj is observant enough to recognize Leonel's guilt, worried enough to ask whether grief has broken him, and disciplined enough to obey a better tactician immediately. He expresses love through physical presence and practical gestures—from protecting Leonel's blind side to making gifts for Leah and Leo—rather than through solemn declarations. Earth Affinity Ability Index

Raj's Ability Index grants an affinity for earth and earth-derived structures. Its exceptional potential lies in quality rather than volume: Leonel explains that its open-ended evolution path is tied especially to carbon and can advance from ordinary earth toward diamond, graphene, buckypaper, Chaotic Particle Force, or structures that do not occur naturally. Raj does not need to understand their chemistry consciously once Leonel has given him the correct structural “feel,” but his early lack of technical insight leaves him moving normal soil far below the Index's potential. In its basic form, Raj stamps the ground into waves that break ice, ruin footing, or restrain targets. It depends on accessible material and can be countered by an opponent who freezes the terrain before he can influence it. Open ocean initially causes the greatest drop in his strength among the squad, so he carries metal shavings as a portable substitute and varies their hardness to form drill bits. Later he creates diamond-and-crystal spikes, adds crushing weight to restraints, travels on a diamond surface, locks a Sylvan's energy flow by hardening its surrounding earth, and shapes durable miniature objects with his palm. Leonel's Dream Path guidance supplies a step-by-step intuition for structures Raj would struggle to derive alone. The Earth Force Mantra and repeated Perfection Stone bouts then expose weaknesses and reinforce the practical control required to use that knowledge in higher worlds. The corpus explicitly identifies him as Seventh Dimensional around his death and restoration, then places the reforged squad at Tier 9 of the Seventh Dimension. Leonel later raises every brother to the Ninth Dimension through a compatible incomplete-world fusion before Dream Reverse rewinds Raj to the Third for a stronger rebuild. Raj's individually recovered endpoint is not stated, so his most recent feats establish continuing improvement without supporting a final exact realm. Raj works best as a controller inside a coordinated unit. His terrain disruption creates routes, delays charges, pins priority targets, or gives faster attackers a stable opening. He can follow Allan's calculations despite lacking the latter's analytical talent, and their later back-to-back fighting combines material control, electromagnetism, and firearms. His limits remain situational access to matter, the quality he can presently form, and the attention required to impose structure against the resistance of a powerful world or enemy. Physical combat and weapons

His football strength and instincts remain part of his fighting style. Raj uses tackles, palms, grips, and leverage at close range; the throw he performs against Zephyr is explicitly a football maneuver rather than a formal martial technique. When Earth control fails he can use assault rifles and, in later group battles, fights amid the squad's gun-based formations. These options provide continuity when terrain is denied, but the narrative consistently presents structural Earth control as his defining power. (Chapters 404, 2709, and 2992–2993)
