Biography
Council service and final capture
Meurich rises from a Second Rank wood-attribute wizard into Alick's trusted Stargate Council assistant, administering candidate selection, Prismatic operations, and later the red-worm project. His coldest act is murdering Fiona in front of Agu to test and torment the Faceless One. When he tries to leave through the stargate, Saul intercepts him, feeds his vessel to Little Algae, and imprisons his soul in the Dead Wizard's Diary, ending his hoped-for escape. Appearance and personality
Meurich is a young-looking male wizard, not yet a hundred at his introduction, whose altered eyes can extend for observation. Efficient, intelligent, and composed, he treats people as experimental pieces and underestimates how patiently Saul will avenge Fiona.
Abilities
He specializes in wood magic, observation, experimental administration, and later inhabits a flesh-worm vessel prepared for interstellar migration.
