Captain Harry transports Saul aboard an airship and enthusiastically explains the safer lift gas used in modern vessels, revealing both his professional pride and his habit of flattering powerful passengers. He continues operating routes across the changing wizard world and later carries Saul and Keli to the far north. When they arrange a return pickup forty-five days later, Harry promises to come even without payment, showing how Saul's reputation has transformed an ordinary commercial relationship into eager service.
