Search for Ralph Manor's treasure

Clawn brought his young student Swan into Ralph Manor in pursuit of the estate's rumored gains, combining an old wanderer's caution with a willingness to expose an apprentice to severe danger. The manor's transformations injured him and caused plants to sprout from his body. He disappeared during the subsequent attacks, and the absence of a recoverable corpse indicated that Ralph's horror had consumed or absorbed him. His treasure hunt therefore left Swan to survive and escape without his master's protection. (Chapters 185–202)

Appearance and personality

Clawn is a white-haired elderly man. He is experienced and wary, yet still opportunistic enough to enter an obviously dangerous estate with a child apprentice in search of valuable remains.

Abilities

• Third-level apprentice wizardcraft accumulated as a wandering practitioner.
• Practical knowledge of supernatural hazards and magical valuables.

Relationships

• Swan: Clawn is his master and brings him to Ralph Manor, where the boy ultimately survives alone.
