Biography
Two same-named figures
The first Brown is the strongest boy in the tower servants' dormitory, using fists to control food order and sleeping space until Saul's resistance and altered left hand frighten him into retreat. Much later, a Wizard Brown leads one of Pei'er's search parties and is transformed into scattered cubic fragments by Borderland pollution; Saul recovers the remains for study. The narrative does not confirm that this wizard is the former servant, so their shared name is not treated as proof of one continuous identity. (Chapters 3–4, 587–588)
Appearance and personality
The servant Brown is a physically dominant boy with a cruel smile and bullying confidence that vanishes when confronted by supernatural danger. The later wizard's appearance is not established beyond his polluted, fragmented remains.
Abilities
The servant relies on physical strength. The same-named later Brown is a true wizard trusted to lead a dangerous search party, but his specific magic is not confirmed.
