Biography

From tower attendant to Chaos Realm defender

Ann first serves Saul during the Gorsa Tower revolt, treating his orders as absolute while using sharper judgment than several other bound souls. She travels with his diary household, accepts successive soul-body modifications, and develops a spider-like Soul Armament suited to close combat. Protecting Keli at Caugust turns that loyalty into independent responsibility; much later, she helps command and defend the sealed Chaos Realm, nearly exhausting her soul against anchor-point monsters before Saul arrives and removes her pollution. She remains there when the other consciousnesses gather for the final crisis. (Chapters 431–440, 461–477, 739, 1009, 1015–1016, and 1034)

Appearance and personality

Ann often resembles a young woman until combat reveals eight bladed spider legs, a scorpion-like tail, or a body expanded to several meters. She is quick-witted, irreverent with fellow diary residents, and outwardly cold toward strangers, but takes promises of protection extremely seriously. (Chapters 431, 461–477, 739, and 1015–1016)

Abilities

Her Soul Armament emphasizes vibration sensing, spider mobility, cutting limbs, and direct physical combat. Ann can throw silk-like lines, adapt compatible soul fragments, and control the bone army, though extreme pollution still destabilizes her consciousness body. (Chapters 477, 739, 1009, and 1015–1016)

Relationships

• Saul: Ann calls Saul Master, assists his experiments, and grows into a trusted field agent rather than a passive captive. (Chapters 431–440, 461–477, and 1015–1016)
• Keli: Entrusted with Keli's safety, Ann protects her at Caugust and later fights beside her through the Chaos Realm siege. (Chapters 739, 1009, and 1015–1016)
