Celestial Immortal Blackheaven is the former treasure-spirit of the Blackheaven Cauldron and the Three Realms' most accomplished construct-maker, whose golem bodies let him operate far above the normal expectations of a Celestial Immortal.

Biography

A favor that becomes a vendetta

Blackheaven first enters the conflict over Ji Ning by honoring one of three favors owed to Violetgrass. After reading the intelligence she supplies, he agrees that Ning's opposition to their side and exceptional growth make him a threat worth removing early. When Violetgrass dies, the obligation becomes personal anger. Blackheaven joins Azurefox and other Gate leaders in planning to strike while Ning's Primaltwin undergoes its Celestial Tribulation and both bodies are vulnerable to the demonheart trial. (Chapters 438 and 496–497)

He does not risk his true existence in the ambush. Because his heterodox methods and treasures work effectively through a clone, he sends one armed with a Protocosmic spirit-treasure and the Yin-Yang Arcane Ki Bottle. Old Man Yuan's intervention destroys the attacking party and transfers their treasures to Ning, turning Blackheaven's preparations into resources for the intended victim. (Chapters 497–504)

Construct master behind the Grand Xia war

Blackheaven's real importance remains secret even from senior Gate commanders. He was originally the treasure-spirit of the Blackheaven Cauldron and learned the Lord of All Things' methods for creating golem cores. In the Allfiends world, 1.8 million Celestial Immortals manufacture parts while Blackheaven integrates them into a Daofather golem. His threats and impatience reflect the strategic pressure: the Gate's earlier assault has failed, and he intends his constructs to supply the decisive force that conventional commanders could not. The resulting Envoys differ from the Lord of All Things' originals. Blackheaven cannot capture and smelt Daofather souls into permanently loyal cores; his version requires a living Daofather to command it. That limitation makes the Envoy usable by the Gate but also means the machine needs a qualified operator, a five-chaos-jewel power source, and an intact internal formation diagram. Liaison in the Primordial Ruinworld

Blackheaven later serves as the Seamless Gate's messenger to Godfiend Witherspike, using a golem body whose destruction would not endanger him. He studies reports from Thearch Darkstill, recognizes that Ning's true body survived, and transmits battle images and strategic conclusions to the Lord of All Fiends. His assessment evolves with the evidence: disbelief gives way to blunt acceptance that Ning has reached overlord power. (Chapters 700–716)

His final scoped work places him between the Gate's rulers and the dangerous outsider. He advises Witherspike on targets and formations, but remains careful because he knows the Godfiend is as terrifying as the Lord of All Things. The corpus does not confirm Blackheaven's death; the disposable bodies that appear in hazardous operations are explicitly not his true body. (Chapters 700–730)

Appearance and personality

Blackheaven's operating bodies can pass as living cultivators so completely that even True Gods and Daofathers cannot recognize them as golems. He is expressive, wine-drinking, and often boisterous, but changes quickly from laughter to anger when Violetgrass or his constructs are involved. He respects evidence more than hierarchy: once Witherspike's report proves Ning's power, Blackheaven gives the Gate an unwelcome conclusion even when the Godking resists it. His readiness to use clones, traps, and proxies also makes caution a defining trait rather than cowardice. (Chapters 450, 496–500, 547, and 700–716)

Abilities and cultivation

Construct grandmaster and Blackheaven Cauldron legacy

Blackheaven learned construct principles as the spirit of the Blackheaven Cauldron, the tool the Lord of All Things used to create golem cores. He can coordinate enormous manufacturing efforts, assemble Daofather-level war machines, repair critical Envoy mechanisms, and hide the formation diagrams the enemy would need to duplicate that work. His art is described as unrivaled in the Three Realms, but not equal to his former master's soul-smelting method; Blackheaven's Envoys require living pilots. (Chapters 547–551, 678, 684, and 700)

Golem bodies and remote survival

He operates through humanoid golem bodies that fool even True Gods and Daofathers. Destroying one only costs him a replaceable shell, allowing him to carry messages into hostile territory or join attacks without risking his true body. This produces the reputation of a Celestial Immortal who can roam among much stronger figures, but the protection has a clear boundary: losing a shell also loses whatever rare treasures or information it carries. Heterodox treasures and traps

Blackheaven possesses numerous unusual treasures, including Protocosmic spirit-treasures. The Yin-Yang Arcane Ki Bottle can trap and nearly kill an Empyrean God, while the Nineleaf Snowlotus draws on cold natural energy to generate petals that bind and assault a target even when ownerless; supplied with elemental ki, it becomes stronger. These tools amplify Blackheaven far beyond his own direct combat cultivation, but they can be captured, negotiated away, or countered when an ambush fails. (Chapters 497 and 500–504)

Intelligence reconstruction

After viewing transmitted battle scenes, Blackheaven can reproduce them for a council, allowing other leaders to inspect the same evidence. His value lies in interpreting such records alongside knowledge of Primordial-Era experts and construct mechanics. The process depends on a surviving transmission or observer; when Ning kills an entire formation before any report returns, even Blackheaven initially lacks a reliable explanation. Relationships

Ji Ning: Blackheaven first targets Ning for Violetgrass and the Gate, later loses treasures in the failed tribulation ambush, and eventually becomes one of the officials who accurately reports Ning's rise to overlord power. (Chapters 438, 496–504, and 700–716)
Lord of All Fiends: After being enslaved by the Seamless Gate, Blackheaven becomes Windfiend's personal retainer and reports strategic intelligence directly to him. (Chapters 700, 704, and 716)
