Biography

Entry into the wider conflict

Sap Trang first protected refugees trying to launch a boat, holding off aggressive rats despite suffering wounds that had not healed when the survivors reached the pier. When betrayal later endangered Zac Atwood, Trang personally fired a sniper round through Janos, and his reliability earned him a place among the few human members of Port Atwood’s early governing council. (Chapters 94, 158, and 163)

Later responsibilities and consequences

Trang became valued for more than seamanship: Ogras Azh’Rezak considered bringing him along simply because he enjoyed the old sailor’s company. Age and a Late E-grade bottleneck eventually cornered Trang. Too stubborn to accept Zac’s superior pills and guilty that coastal duties kept him from the war, he chose a desperate Terminal Seclusion plan; it failed, leaving Zac to mourn at his final resting place. Appearance and personality

Trang is an older fisherman and sailor. His conduct is brave, dependable, stubborn, and self-sacrificing, with guilt over remaining behind ultimately driving a fatal decision. (Chapter 94) (Chapter 1185)

Abilities and cultivation

Trang reached Late E-grade but could not overcome the bottleneck imposed by age and declining momentum. He was also an accurate enough marksman to stop Janos with a single sniper shot. The details of his class and Dao are not stated. (Chapter 158) (Chapter 1185)
