Role in the wider conflict

Janos first supported Camp Atwood by immediately powering a defensive dome when Ogras called for it, using Nexus Crystals and a large array to shelter the settlement. His path later expanded far beyond battlefield misdirection: by saving Kadel, who became Grand Dream, Janos activated two halos, and he continued applying illusions beside Joanna when the mismatch between her Faith and an ancient base threatened their progress. (Chapters 87, 1256, and 1386)

Appearance and personality

Janos is identified as a demon illusionist. His quick response to an alarm and continued service in dangerous ruins show attentiveness and dependability, while fuller physical details are not established. (Chapters 87 and 1256)

Abilities and cultivation

Janos can operate defensive arrays and create illusions powerful enough that Zac treats escaping them as a meaningful benchmark. His later path is explicitly that of a Dream Cultivator, and saving Kadel activated two halos. The prospective First Dawn Yearning would greatly strengthen his soul and provide a secondary dream realm, but he had not acquired it by the latest reference. (Chapters 87, 1386, and 1415)
