Nala
Nala is the half-Draugr guide who introduces Zac to Twilight Harbor's divided society and commerce.
Biography
Role in the wider conflict
Nala accepts the chance to guide a supposed pureblood Draugr despite being visibly intimidated by his status. She chooses her family's modest vessel instead of pressing Zac toward a costlier rental, pilots him between the worlddisks, and explains the uneasy balance between local and foreign factions. Her practical candor helps Zac navigate the harbor without exposing his ignorance. A much later vision casts her as his decade-long companion and rescuer, but that life dissolves as an induced false history and does not establish her real fate. (Chapters 684–685 and 1347)
Appearance and personality
Nala is a half-Draugr whose initial difficulty meeting Zac's abyssal eyes reflects the hierarchy separating mixed-blood undead from supposed purebloods. She is deferential but resourceful, volunteering routes, transport, and political context once given the assignment. The affectionate concern shown in the later alternate history belongs to the vision and cannot safely be treated as part of her actual development. (Chapters 684–685 and 1347)
Abilities and cultivation
Nala can pilot a Twilight Cloud-powered flying vessel and understands the currents, settlements, and factional ownership of Twilight Harbor. Her role depends more on local knowledge than demonstrated combat strength; no class, named skill, exact grade, or later advancement is confirmed. (Chapters 684–685)

Nala borrows her family's low-end flying vessel for the guiding assignment. It is a serviceable Twilight Cloud-powered craft, but it remains family property and is not established as a named personal artifact. (Chapter 684)
