Dossin receives ambitious leaders from several subsidiary fronts and must persuade them to fight around unstable passages without pretending the risk is small. She chooses blunt incentives—ancient loot, alliance merit, and a chance to reverse the war—then explains that every enemy killed outside improves the odds for the few who reach the fortress. Her detached briefing turns private greed into coordinated strategic pressure. After the bell destroys the nearby Kan'Tanu, her unit avoids further combat, but the discovery of deathsworn and Technocrat infiltrators places the whole army under quarantine, leaving her operational success overshadowed by a security failure that requires alliance investigation.
