Yanin

Yanin is a Behemoth Clan Pillar and one of the strong middle-stage warriors positioned to succeed Sha Mo. His exceptional life force makes him both a dangerous battlefield opponent and a target for Raze's dark enchantment.

Biography

Battle against Raze's group

Yanin and fellow Pillar Polter are deployed to crush Raze Cromwell, Rayna, and Anna, demonstrating how seriously Sha Mo regards them. Yanin uses a massive hammer and superior Qi to batter the area and pressure Rayna. Raze deliberately avoids killing him outright because a living, powerful warrior is needed for an enchantment; coordinated attacks and shadow restraint eventually disable Yanin, and his leg is severed so he cannot escape. (Chapters 587–596)

Sacrifice into the cursed shield

Raze places a power stone, a black shield, and the captive Yanin within a Dark Magic formation. The enchantment draws out Yanin's unusually strong life force until his body shrivels and dies, embedding that stolen vitality into the resulting Legendary Cursed Shield. Yanin therefore never owns or wields the finished artifact: he is its unwilling sacrificial source, and his death is the transfer that completes it. (Chapters 597–598)

Appearance and personality

Yanin is presented as a physically imposing Pillar suited to a heavy hammer. The corpus gives little private characterization beyond confidence in his strength and obedience to Behemoth leadership. His captivity and death do not provide enough evidence for a final change of outlook.

Magic, cultivation, and abilities

Yanin is explicitly a strong middle-stage Pagna warrior. He channels large amounts of Qi through heavy hammer swings, producing enough force to threaten other experienced middle-stage fighters and damage the surrounding battlefield. His durability and life force are exceptional, but restraint, dismemberment, and a prepared dark ritual bypass those advantages.
