Lince
Lince is the single-eyed, heavily wrapped leader of the Lost Clan and one of the Demonic Faction's senior authorities. Initially a cautious observer of Raze Cromwell, he becomes Belil's confidant, supports the Golden Globe expedition, and helps legitimize Raze's coalition. His personal speed, daggers, Qi, and binding arts remain distinct from the troops and intelligence network he commands as Clan Head.
Biography
Tournament observer and Flendon ally
Lince attends Raze and Rayna's wedding as a major Demonic Clan Head, then represents faction interests at the inter-faction tournament. He treats foreign equipment and Murkel's instability as strategic questions rather than spectacle, fights during the coup, and recognizes that Raze's rise has broken the old balance. His initial support is pragmatic: the Lost Clan needs to survive the same upheaval that threatens the students. (Chapters 571–755)
Clan intelligence warns Lince that Behemoth is moving, so he reaches Flendon early to see whether the Dark Magus has prepared a defense. He deflects attacks and protects people during the crisis, then watches Raze defeat Sha Mo. The experience turns curiosity into political judgment: Raze is not merely disruptive but the catalyst around whom Pagna's threatened factions may have to organize. (Chapters 837–903)
Belil's request and the Golden Globe
Belil entrusts Lince with knowledge of his approaching death and asks him to support Raze. Lince accepts without becoming an unquestioning subordinate; he observes Raze's grief and tests whether the younger man can carry faction responsibility. On the Golden Globe expedition he fights Mosak, works with Zon to destroy suppression crystals, and helps the group even though the artifact is ultimately stolen. (Chapters 903–1063)
At Belil's funeral, Lince proposes a controlled contest that can establish Raze's standing among skeptical Demonic leaders. Alter's attack turns ceremony into massacre, after which Lince supports the wider coalition rather than exploiting Neverfall's weakness. His command experience helps turn personal respect into institutional backing from clans that would not follow Raze on friendship alone. (Chapters 1129–1202)
Coalition commander across worlds
Lince guards Raze during the Pagna war and commands Lost Clan forces as the faction alliance battles Alter. He later returns with Pagna's army during the Noble Land campaign, showing that his allegiance survives the first victory. After Idore's fall, he articulates what Raze has difficulty admitting: the Dark Magus builds emotional walls from fear of losing people rather than a true desire to remain alone. His latest state is alive and still serving as both fighter and perceptive senior adviser. (Chapters 1202–1275 and 1721–1775)
Appearance and personality
Lince wraps most of his body in black cloth, leaving only one eye visible. The concealment supports the Lost Clan's mysterious reputation without establishing that the coverings themselves are magical. He is sardonic, observant, and politically pragmatic, often reading the consequence of a battle before choosing where to commit his clan. (Chapters 571, 611, and 903–926)
His caution does not prevent loyalty. Once Belil's request and Raze's actions convince him, Lince repeatedly accepts personal danger and public responsibility. He can challenge Raze while still supporting him, making his alliance more durable than simple deference. (Chapters 926–942, 1130, and 1775)
Magic, cultivation, and abilities
Lost Clan cultivation
Lince is a long-cultivated Clan Head who channels powerful Qi through speed, daggers, wrapped weapons, and binding or pulling techniques. He can deflect heavy projectiles, survive top-tier faction battles, and help destroy crystals suppressing other fighters. His exact stage and the source of every concealed-body trait are not fully established, so the article does not infer a Hybrid or magical system. (Chapters 611, 732, 837–898, 986, and 1053)
His personal ceiling remains below unrestricted Divine or Grand-Magus power, and his successes against superior enemies depend on coordination with Zon, Raze, and other clan leaders. Later battlefield command reflects strategic authority and available troops, not a multiplication of his individual Qi. (Chapters 1053, 1202, 1721, and 1775)
Intelligence and command
The Lost Clan supplies Lince with advance information on Behemoth movements, while his status lets him mobilize fighters and influence Demonic politics. He uses that network to arrive early, validate threats, and legitimize coalition decisions. These command capabilities are consequential but organizational rather than supernatural. (Chapters 837, 1129–1192, and 1721)
