Claire

Claire is a Pagna wanderer who enters a Behemoth-controlled dimension with Plon's group. She helps hunt beasts, follows the masked Raze's instructions through an encounter beyond her level, and leaves the dimension alive after witnessing the Crimson Crane and the defeat of its boss.

Biography

The dimension expedition

Claire's group survives by coordinating around Plon's shield while she and the other women follow with bladed attacks and extract power stones. She supports moving to less crowded hunting ground but refuses another party's claim that an open area belongs to them. When stronger beasts appear, she obeys the iron-masked stranger's instruction to close her eyes even as she is bitten and repeatedly caught in his area attacks. His intervention preserves the group and kills threats they could not handle alone. (Chapters 333–338)

Witness to the Crimson Crane

After the dimension boss falls, Claire shares Plon's amazement at meeting Alba and Froma, then helps with the aftermath and leaves through the portal. On the road back she speculates that the masked man may belong to the Crimson Crane because of his familiarity with its members. The corpus does not show her learning that he is Raze Cromwell, joining another faction, or appearing again after the expedition. (Chapters 341 and 344)

Appearance and personality

The corpus does not provide a distinct physical description for Claire. She is observant, willing to challenge an unfair demand, and trusting enough to follow urgent instructions from the group's strongest temporary ally. Her complaints when shocked or told to keep her eyes shut add impatience without undermining her cooperation under pressure. (Chapters 333–338)

Magic, cultivation, and abilities

Claire is a Pagna warrior who participates in coordinated sword attacks against level-three beasts. She can wound a beast after Plon blocks it but cannot reliably finish the creature alone, and a bite penetrates her defense when she fights without sight. No exact stage, named Qi technique, affinity, or artifact-derived enhancement is established. (Chapters 333–338)

Relationships

  • Plon: Claire follows Plon's defensive leadership, contributes to his hunting group, and readily kicks him when he asks for proof that meeting the Crimson Crane is not a dream.
  • Raze Cromwell: Claire knows Raze only as the powerful “Iron Mask” wanderer who saves the group and defeats the dimension boss. Her final theory about his affiliation remains unconfirmed to her.
  • Alba and Froma: Claire meets the Crimson Crane members as an admiring wanderer and agrees to keep their presence in the dimension quiet.

Items

  • Sword and carving tools: Claire participates in bladed follow-up attacks and the group's extraction of power stones. No personal weapon name or enchantment is provided. (Chapters 333–338)
  • Power stones: The group gathers stones from defeated beasts, and Raze offers one to each helper. The corpus does not trace Claire's individual stone after the expedition. (Chapters 333–338)
