Trempel Vizardo
Trempel Vizardo is the commander of Aroth's Court Wizards and an Eighth Circle Archwizard. He serves both as the royal family's senior magical officer and as one of the kingdom's most prominent battle mages. (Chapters 120, 314, and 422)
Biography
Nahama, Samar, and Sienna's Legacy
Trempel repeatedly tries to recruit Eugene Lionheart into the Court Wizards on behalf of the royal faction, offering professional guidance and political favor. When Akasha recognizes Eugene, Trempel balances Aroth's claim to the treasured symbol against reverence for Sienna and helps convene a hearing rather than arresting him. He later represents Aroth at the Knight March and advises the royal family on magical threats. When an unidentified Sienna appears to be attacking Abram, Trempel mobilizes the Court Wizards in defense of the palace, then immediately yields after recognizing her. He subsequently joins Sienna's Archwizard research and leads Aroth's elite wizards into the Hauria campaign and the Divine Army. (Chapters 118–124, 218–221, 314–318, 422, 450, and 466)
Appearance and personality
Trempel appears as a wrinkled, middle-aged man with a handlebar mustache that other characters consider ill-suited to him. He can be ingratiating, persistent, and politically calculating when recruiting talent, yet he also takes law, scholarship, and loyalty to the Aroth crown seriously. His awe of Sienna does not erase his readiness to oppose her if he believes the king is in danger. (Chapters 55, 117, and 317)
Abilities and powers
Trempel is an Eighth Circle Archwizard described as Aroth's most prominent battle mage. He is capable in both summoning and battle magic, can manage or investigate the capital's weather and warp systems, and commands a hundred elite combat wizards. His large-scale vortex gathers intense mana, but Sienna disrupts it with her voice and orders him to dispel it. The selected evidence does not identify a personal Signature or establish its mechanics. (Chapters 55, 120, and 314–315)
